    I booked 2 motel rooms with the 641 Grill & Motel on July 13th 2024 for August 2nd and 3rd. I cancelled the booking on July 15th 2024. The Motel ran my credit card for the entire amount of $****** on July 13th 2024. I wasn't aware of this at the time. I have been trying ever since to get a refund. *** ******* * ** *** ***** ************ **** ** ******

    We arrived to the motel on July 2nd/ 2024. We phoned ahead of time to ensure they had available rooms. We arrived and had to wait outside for them to “clean” our room, after paying double the advertising price per room. We went to take a shower and the shower did not work. The room was dirty, and we found some random persons smoking vape in the room. I made contact with the owner, he said he was processing a refund for me which was never received. I’ve attempted to phone the owner, he had been ignoring my calls.

    Hi,

    We didn't charge double the amount. They checked single bed price online and wanted us to match the price. Sorry, we cannot do that. 

    Secondly they wanted to check-in early, or check in time is 4pm and they wanted to check-in early. Instead charging them extra money, we asked them to wait and cleaned the room and let them check in early. 

    They finished their visit without any complain any after checking out we got a call around next day about the complain. We asked them why didn't you inform us while you were here. They used foul language and wanted us to do the full refund. Once again, sorry we cannot refund any body after their visit. If they have any problem, they need to inform us during their stay so we can make their experience better. We have 24 hrs employee at the site to make everyone visit memorable.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I called ahead when we were in Manitoba to ensure there was a vacant room. We didn’t arrive to the motel until 8 PM, so they are lying about early check in. They have been changing their stories every time there is new correspondence with them which I have submitted the evidence of.

    In fact. I reported the issues which I have proof of in text messages. We did not in fact ask for early check in, as I phoned when we were in Manitoba driving toward Saskatchewan, and we didn’t even arrive to the motel until 8 pm which I have proof of also. **** ***** ** ***** ** *** ** ***** ** *** *** **** ** ***** **** ** ***************. I have attached all photos of my correspondence with the owner of this motel.

    Customer completed their stay and never complained about anything during their stay. After they checked out they called us, after someone stay has been completed how can we refund. we cannot proceed with any refund, sorry about that. we have 24 hr prior to arrival cancellation policy but after someone stay we cannot process the refund
