Had my car impounded on the 15th of aug paid for it to be picked up on the 19th at *** and way north towing and it took 5 days to get a receipt for way north. Once reviewing the receipt found he charged me an extra day of storage. When ask about it he told me that’s right and he would not return my overpayment. Had to pay before removing my car. Have a receipt showing the impound day, receipt for release form and bank statment of payment to him on the 19th .

    After reviewing the receipt I did actually overcharge him for 1 day of storage totaling $*****. ************* * *** **** ***** ** *** ********** ** * **** ** ****** ***** ******* ** ******** ** * ***** ****** ******** ****. I would have gladly rectified the situation if Mr. ******* had contacted me directly. I'm still willing to correct the error with a refund of 1 day storage totaling $*****.

ON DEC 27 2022 I hit the ditch while traveling to la ronge. Way north towing contacted and a $100 deposit was agreed upon . He stated the deposit is for his fuel and time incase I get out before he arrives. It took the tow service over 2.5 hrs to arrive. By that time I had dug my self out and headed back to la ronge. I was mentally and physically exhausted from shoveling. Next thing i see was the tow truck finally on its way. He activates his emergency lights and "pulled me over" and told me that i have a nice sled and truck and owe him the full cost of a tow . I was shocked by this as he did not pull me out at all and demanded an extra 150$ . All i had on me was $60 and he demanded that. No reciept was issued for any of this but my gf spoke to him after and has text proof this occured. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2023/01/05) */ *************************************************************************************************************** The customer called me and requested I come out and winch his vehicle out of the ditch which was located 75km south of La Ronge where I am based out of. I requested a $100 dollar deposit which would be applied to the final cost which is a normal practice by companies in the industry. I drove approximately 70km south before I was called by Mr. ***** and told he had managed to get out of the ditch. He told me he would wait for me to arrive but I suggested I just turn around we could meet at the next safe place to pull over. Eventually Mr. ***** caught up to me and I pulled over at the next intersection and activated my safety lights for our safety because we were pulled over on the side of the road. I walked up to his vehicle and he asked me if the $100 deposit was sufficient to cover the cost I stated that because of the distance that I had driven I suggested another $100 would be sufficient he stated that he only had $70 cash and I said I guess that would do. Upon him checking his wallet he noticed that if fact he did have $100 and he handed it to me. At no time did he request a receipt until later in the text messages I received. I did compliment him on his snowmobile which was in the box of his truck and told him to have a safe drive back to La Ronge. In this kind of situation I base my rates on what a roadside like *** would pay me in this situation. A basic service call from *** would be $38.50. I would in addition I would receive $3.19 per km travelled from my business base which is La Ronge and was 70km. So in turn *** would have paid me $261.80. So with that being said I believe $200 I charged Mr. ***** was more then reasonable. ******************************************************************************************************************************** ************* Waynorth Towing Ltd.
