We purchased couches from the company Dec 22/2021. They told us they would be in, in 6 weeks. 6 weeks came and I phoned for an update they then told us beginning of March. Beginning of March came and I phoned again for an update and they said middle of March. Middle of March came and I phoned again. They told us beginning of April and they asked if we wanted a loner couch so we had something to atleast sit on as we sold our old furniture. The girl stated she had someone coming this way and they could drop it off on there way at no fee. And we would bring it back when we picked our furniture up in the beginning of April. Beginning of April came and I phoned again for another update and they said middle of April. Middle of April came and my husband got called back to work. April 14th came and I finally received a call asking when we could bring back the loner couch as our couches were in. I explained to them now it being the middle of April my husband has gone back to work with the truck so I have no way of picking the couches up and asked if they could deliver them for the inconvenience. They would call me back. I later received a call from *****. I explained the situation to him and he responded by saying "we've given you guys enough free stuff" I asked what free stuff we have received and he said a free loner and free delivery and I told him exactly what the girl had told me that it was no problem for them to deliver it as they had someone coming this way. He stated they don't have people joy riding to Prince Albert. He also started they gave us $200 off our couches for the delay. I asked if he could use the $200 towards a delivery fee and he stated a delivery fee would be $500. He also stated we bought the cheapest quality couches so there's no extra money to play around with. I explained I am pregnant with an infant as well and he suggested I rent a uhaul. I asked if I could talk to someone else and he said I could try but wouldn't get anywhere. Result in deliver

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/25) */ Dear ******, I'm sorry to hear of your frustration and will look into this for you. Unfortunately I don't see you in our system. Is it possible the order is under a different name or do you have the invoice number? Thanks, **** Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The order is under ************. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/05/07) */ Hi ******, I have found the order and agree that instead of crediting the $200 discount we will arrange for free basic delivery to your home in ********* instead. The delivery company will contact you when they are coming through your area to arrange a suitable time to bring you your sofa, loveseat and chair and bring us the loaner set back. Please let me know if this is suitable and I can have the front arrange final payment of $2,883.97. Once done I can then book the delivery company for you. Best Regards, ********** Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/05/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Thank you! Free delivery is perfect! We will gladly pay the remaining amount of $2,661.97 that our receipt says. I can try attach a picture of our receipt we received from you the day we purchased our set. Thanks! I can't attach the receipt but I can try email it to you. Here's a breakdown since some how our totals are different. Subtotal : $4199.97 Delivery : $0.00 Tax ID: ********* Tax: $462.00 Invoice Total: $ 4,661.97 Amount Paid: $2,000 Total Due: $2,661.97 There was NEVER a $200 discount ever applied it was just word of mouth from ***** Look forward to finally getting our couch set!! Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/05/21) */ Hi ******, There's a $200 discount on the first line item on the invoice that I could remove and give you free delivery instead. Talk to you soon, **** Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2022/05/25) */ Yes sorry I seen that now. It didn't even cross my mind that you guys are trying to change the sale price on us. This is ridiculous, it blows my mind I even need to explain this. That is the SALE PRICE we purchased them for on Dec 22 with intention to pick them up in 6 weeks. You didn't "credit" $200 off to us for this whole inconvenience. Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2022/05/30) */ Sorry ******, it just says discount per the sales associate. It very well could be part of the sales price. However the estimated quoted time period on your receipt from the manufacturer was for March and when we found out that was going to be off, we offered a loaner set with the understanding that it would be brought back when your new set arrived. The new sofa set did arrive mid April which is really good in respect to the current supply chain issues. I do understand that right now you don't have the means to bring the loaner set back and pick up the new up as your husband has been called into work and won't be back for an extended period of time. Perhaps a fair compromise would be to split the $200, as I was going to transfer it into a free delivery. You can simply pay the delivery company a $100 when they bring out the new set and the invoice can remain the same. Does this work for you? Talk to you soon, **** ***************************************************************************************
