There is far more information about this job that you should know about, but we are limited to 2000 characters. April of 2022, we asked ***** for a quote to paint our 900sqft house, 20'x24'garage, and to restore our original windows. The windows were supposed to be taken out and properly scraped, sanded and prepped. He gave us a quote for $9129.75 and that did not include soffit, fascia and eaves-troughs. We paid Logan a deposit of $2282.44. A subcontracted crew that we are never informed would be used, showed up on the scheduled day. They attempted to powerwash (with difficulties) and we dispute that they did powerwash everything as we found dirt in our later inspection. Then, instead of letting the house dry, the workers applied 5 full cans of primer!! This is taken verbatim from our quote #**** written by ***** for $9128.75: "power wash house and let sit for 1-2 days - scrape, sand, spackel, prime and prep all windows and siding before painting" Clearly they should not have applied primer. If this wasn't bad enough, the crew was now going to start applying paint!! I told them absolutely not to paint, as I could clearly see the proper prep work had not been done. They would have power washed, primed and painted our house in ONE day, if we had not stopped them! The glass in one of our windows was cracked by a crew member. The crew member admitted cracking it. We informed ***** that day, that we were no longer going to continue with this job and that we wanted our deposit back. ***** offered us a refund of $1475. We were not satisfied, but we accepted. ***** AGREED to this refund of $1475 (we have screen capture conversations of this so ***** cannot deny this) and then ultimately ***** changed his mind and decided to give us ZERO refund. By ***** choosing to renege on his refund, we now have no option except to proceed with a small courts claim. We will now be seeking a full refund of our deposit of $2282.44 plus cost to repair the broken glass.
