Bought a 2018 **** on April 1st 2022. Has a panoramic roof that was broken. They were supposed to have it repaired and never did. I have supported texts from from the owner stating he knew it was broken before I purchased the truck. He has maintained he was a man of his word but never resolved this. He even got me me to purchase an extended warranty and wanted to have the repair done through the warranty. That failed as the warranty company rejected the warranty claim. ****** just ignores my my texts now but I have saved every texts regarding this issue. I would like the sun roof repaired as it's not operational and I bought the truck with the assurance it would be fixed one way or another.

Dec 04, 2021 we walked into Carget to purchase a vehicle for our family since we were new to Canada. We purchased 2015 ******* ***** * for $50,000. Also purchased extended warranty. In January 2022, the engine light came on. Caget kept the vehicle for 2 months. Gave me a loaner. March 07, 2022 the vehicle was returned to me and charged me $1,700. April 26 2022 & Sept. 27 2022- we took our car to ******** ***** *** **** for oil change Dec 06 2022- took car to Carget for Power steering failed , engine oil dripping. We told Carget about it but their rep ***** advised us to continue to drive. Until engine light turned red with message “engine damage”, we took a picture and sent it to *****, he then told us to stop driving and he sent a young man to come our house with a jug of engine oil. Young man poured it into our vehicle and we drove the car to Carget. Our vehicle has been parked at Carget since the end of Feb 2023. We were told the engine went and need new engine. They ordered new engine for us, insurance will pay around $5000, Carget over around $5000 and we cover the other $5000. Carget and us split labour to put engine in. Was told it would take 1 month, it’s been 5 months and our car is still with them. They don’t communicate unless we go there in person, never return phone calls or text message. Last time we were there, they said car will be done July 7 2023, now they sent us a text to let me know car not ready. We have sent them numerous pictures of oil leaking under the car, but they kept on advising us to continue to drive the vehicle. We came in with a friend and instead of giving us a solution to resolve the issue, they offered to sell us a different car and sell that one to them for $20,000. They have no integrity, no responsibility for their wrong doing. Business like this should be charged and closed down. They lied about everything and they don’t care about their customer.

    Hello,

Please see attached supporting documents for Mr. ********’s transaction at our store. He knowingly purchased a 2017 ****** *** *** with 71,573 KM on it (Signed Bill of Sale Attached)

Post purchase Mr. ******** had an issue with one of his wheels, we took care of him buy purchasing a full set of four brand new rims and tires with TPMS Sensors to be installed at the nearest ****** Dealer at no charge.

We believe this was above and beyond.

After receiving his set of wheels Mr. ******** was very happy and agreed to remove his online reviews that were both extremely negative and derogatory. My correspondence with FCAA Consumer Affairs is attached.

On Feb. 13th, 2023, Mr. ******** contacted service regarding his Power Steering acting up. On Feb. 15th the part required was confirmed ordered by our shop and communicated to him by way of Text and Call.

Because of his ongoing treatment at the time, and his inability to commit to an appointment, our service department made clear to him that space would be made available for him when the part arrived and he could make it to Saskatoon.

On Thursday Feb. 23rd the part arrived and our service advisor confirmed and appointment with Mr. ******** for the following day.

On Friday Feb. 24th, Mr. ******** sent a text message to service indicating he was stranded on the side of the road approximately  3KM (from the location map he shared with us) from Moose Jaw. Since conditions were poor, no towing service was available at the time to get the vehicle to Saskatoon for diagnostic and repair, we attempted to use our own flat deck and dispatch a driver to go and pick up the car, however this was unable to get done the same day as it was the weekend and availability of drivers was non existent. We explained to Mr. ******** that we are trying our best to help him out with no cost to him, however we were at the mercy of the weather and available drivers.

On Saturday Feb. 25th, Mr. ******** began texting service at 8:00 AM asking if his car had been retrieved from the side of the road. We then contacted Mr. ******** on Monday Feb. 27th to advise him that the earliest pickup time would be Weds. March 1st with no cost to him.

He began threatening our service advisor and made several staff extremely uncomfortable to communicate with him from this point on. He denied our service and willingness to help, and began threatening us individually, as well as the company.  He also stated that his lawyer advised him to no longer communicate with us in any way.

On March 6th, we received the attached inquiry from Mr. ******** (************@outlook.com) threatening us once again. Additionally, he wrote a terrible review and submitted this claim to BBB.

Enclosing, our dealership prides ourself on delivering a five star experience with honesty and transparency at the forefront of our organization. We strive to ensure our customers are treated fairly and with respect at all times.

Should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Thank you,

Used 2016 **** ***** purchased from Carget April 5, 2022 for $43,383.33+9,399.75 (interest)=$52,783.08+additional warranty $4,000.00 = $56,783.08. Business committed to providing functional vehicle. Nature of dispute: Vehicle is not functional as motor blew October 2022 (issues prior to this). Repairs were not adequate. Sent back to Carget for additional repairs, to date we are not aware of what solution occurred. During all repairs, we had to call for updates. During motor repair process, they made decisions without informing us. Carget attempt repairs on post-motor-blown issues that occurred. They dropped off vehicle at a residence that is no longer ours, without informing us but also after telling us they would deliver at our new residence. They have (and continue) to dodge calls and refuse to return the truck to my residence (which differs from their original pick up but we informed Carget several times and they did not disagree to do this). We are unaware of repairs to date and if the solution is permanent. After delivering truck without warning, they agreed to pay out the truck loan in full if we purchased a vehicle. In this same call, Carget said informed us that they will have to auction the truck as they wouldn't be able to sell it with all the issues its had. This did not instill confidence in their mechanical work, or the future of this vehicle. Next day, we learned they wanted a difference amount of $9,000 to be added onto new loan even though they would pay out loan. We want vehicle returned to us in Medicine Hat (our residence) or bought out in full.
