  I paid almost $10,000.00 for construction of a deck. The quote specified new treated wood. The "contractor" used old plywood and raw 2x4's. He left a pile of the old deck in the driveway which he said he would haul away in his trailer. He was supposed to build a small step at the back door and did he did not. He refuses to communicate with me. He lied about being licensed and bonded. He is not. His license is not current. I filed a complaint with the Municipality. He never applied for a building permit which was required. They issued him a notice of license requirement violation. He has not talked with the Muni enforcement code people and left them a voicemail saying he does not know what they are talking about after he received the violation letter. He also was supposed to get the building plans approved by the trailer court and he never did. I have filed a complaint with the *************** licensing division. He changes addresses and phone numbers and is very hard to contact. There are 3 previous victims that took him to Small Claims Court and received judgements against him. I believe they have been unable to receive any funds to date. The judgements were: $10,165.00, $6,547.99 and $4,448.50. There are also other judgements against him for lawyers fees, auto accident fees and financial debts. He has 2 Company names: DSK Construction and K&G Quality Construction. I am 80 years old and feel this is a case of elder abuse and I was lied to and taken advantage of. I am on a very fixed income and this incident is taking a toll on my mental and physical health. I do not believe he paid $6,392.00 for the supplies noted in the quote. I plan to contact the lumber company and see if they will tell me what he purchased. The quote was for a 12x14 foot deck. He built a 12x12 foot deck.He put a 2x4 post in front of a window! I can file in Small Claims Court for satisfaction. I do not expect to get any money from a judgement. I just want to make sure I am his last victim!!!
