The ************************ proposed a rule to prohibit junk fees, which are hidden and bogus fees that can harm consumers and undercut honest businesses. The *** has estimated that these fees can cost consumers tens of billions of dollars per year in unexpected costs.This company charged a bogus $25 invoice fee, plus a buyers premium and extra for payment with card. I was the winning bidder for a $10 bid. After all of these fees the total was $40. Crazy, because had I known about this bogus invoive fee, I wouldn't have purchased or eveb considered bidding on an item. All sales are final, so if you try to refuse or dont pickup the item, you're charged a $150 plus probably some more bogus fees. These extra fees and charges need to be looked into, its simply not right. I will no longer be supporting this business, nor their third-party partners.Review from John L

I have bought from 2 previous auctions. Both of those transactions were slow, with no communication on their part until I showed up in person. Today (03/08/2023) I showed up at **** because last nights auction invoice they never billed my credit card as the auction terms stated they would. There was another person waiting for someone to open the door when I got there. There were 8 or 9 employee vehicles in the plowed part of the lot, but no unlocked doors and nobody answering the phone. After about 15 minutes a beat up ***** with "Security" painted on it an a light bar showed up. *** had a smart mouth and took his time. When he stated he didn't work there, yet he was clearly unlocking the door (also the same guy that gave me issues at the last auction I bought from them), I told him fine, keep the items and if they charge my card, I'm disputing it. I will also be following up with HiBid Auctions as they are who I bid through yesterday. Since this was also an *************************** item auction, Iwill follow up with them as well. I buy items via HiBid from all over ******* and ****** and this particular company is the most difficult to deal with.
