Had a biopsy on 10-31-23 and we were at 100% on insurance. Insurance has called them multiple times, given them the date of payment t, sent a copy of EOB, transaction numbers and they sent me to collections. ***** told me not to pay it since it was paid already. I will never use them again.

Went in to Imaging Associates LLC for an MRI and a bone scan on in Feb, 17 2022, I gave them my most recent insurance information and $100. They billed an old insurance and didn't get paid. So on 9.12.2022 they referred me to ****************** Services, LLC. I paid the amount due of $724.90 to ****************** (conf #*****D) on 9.16.2022, then called Imaging Associates and asked them to please bill the correct insurance. My insurances paid and adjusted off more than the amount billed , Imaging Associates then pulled us back out of ****************** on 1.24.2023 because insurance paid in full, however I was billed for and paid a final amount of $65.04 on 6.29.2023. Imaging Associates then realized that amount was not due and refunded the $65.04. When I call and request the amount of $724.90 paid to Cornerstone and the $100 I paid initially be refunded to me, Imaging Associates says I have to get it from Cornerstone and they know nothing about the $100. I've asked at least twice, to be called back by a manager or someone who can help resolve this, and despite their policy of "calling back within 24 to 48 hours", I have never been called back. Cornerstone says my payment went to Imaging Associates. I feel like I'm in a vicious circle and I really need my $824.90 back, but I don't know how to resolve this.

This grievance was tagged to our practice but we are not Imaging Associates. We are Alaska Imaging Associates, LLC which is a group of radiologists who work at Alaska ***************** and *****************************. Our imaging Center is Northern Lights Imaging. We do not own or read studies for Imaging Associates, the location of the grievance.

    Thank you,

On Aug. 18th, 2022 I went to the Imaging Associates **************** location to have a biopsy performed. Before we left we paid Imaging Associates $2728.52. We thought this was the total cost of the procedure. A short time later we received a bill from the ************************** for $2837. This was for pathology. A short time after that we received another bill from a company called ADL, **** for $2865 also for pathology. This is to say they charged us $8430.52 simply to tell me I have cancer. Providence reduced their bill by $567.40. All other attempts to receive financial aid were flatly refused. The bills from Providence and ADL are virtually identical and we believe we are being double charged. We have made repeated efforts to resolve the issue by contacting Imaging Associates, Providence, and ADL. The only result has been spending hours on hold and being told to contact the other companies involved. The above mentioned companies have done nothing to resolve the issue beyond threatening to send us to collections.I have attached the bills for ADL and Providence. Here is their basic information.ADL: Account #: ********* client #: ********/ ADL amount: $2865.00 Providence:Account#: ******* Bill ID: ************ Amount: $2269.60
