October thur December 2022 $40,000 I had ***** with RB Construction build me a detached garage. The job site was a mess the whole time they were here . It took 10 times longer than he estimated, When they got done with the building they left a trench around the 2 sides of the building, huge piles of dirt everywhere and told me that the back fill dirt work was not included in the estimate with the concrete slab. The concrete slab work he did is absolutely terrible. It was supposed to be graded for water flow .it is completely uneven and not graded at all, It holds water on the back side in several places, high and low spots everywhere, and completely uneven and not square what so ever. The building it self is not square at all . There is a 8" difference from corner to corner and different measurements from top to bottom. The garage door opening is different from one side to the other, one side of the wall is kicked out up to 2" more than the other side and not sitting on the concrete slab all the way, by 2". The concrete under the garage door was uneven, the door would hit ground on one side and have a 1.5" gap half way down the other side of the door. The double door was framed in way to small for a door to fit in with a frame. The trusses are sitting flush on the wall studs on one side and on the other side they are inset 1.5" plus on the other side , its kind if concerning why it is like that considering thats what holds the weight of the roof and whats on it. The siding on the side walls in the back are not complete , there is a 6" section that is not done on both sides of the building. The facial trim boards have .5" to 1" gaps in a few places where they are supposed to seem up. They popped nail holes all the way down both sides of the roof thru the ice shield and caused my roof to leak. Now he is ghosted me and dont want to fix the problems. I need him to fix the problems or compensate me so i can get them fixed. Thanks.
