  Nov 2, 2023 we visited Baltazar to get a quote for a set of studded tires. They quoted us $600 for used set of tires that are almost brand new. Sounded like a good deal so we made the purchase. A few weeks go by and we realized the same tires (2 front) are always low on air/flat. We were not informed that we have 30 days to report any ***********, we visited ******** after finding out from another mechanic that the tires they had sold us had 8 holes total. They were not good condition and they were fairly old. I asked front desk (owners wife) if they disclose the condition of the tires to their customer before selling and she said yes but to our experience we were not disclosed any information regarding condition of the tire besides selling it to us as still new condition used tires. The manager told us that they had to let go of a lot of their people due to drug abuse and that to his knowledge tires with holes are not to be sold. They proceeded to give us two options which requires us to pay more to replace the tires they sold us which were severely damage. THEY REFUSE TO MAKE IT RIGHT UNLESS WE PAY MORE TO REPLACE THE BAD TIRE THEY SOLD US! Please make that make sense. This business in my opinion is scamming people and are not honest about their business. By looking at numerous reviews and complaints, I am not the only victim this has happened to. It seems as if every day there is complaints the same as mine. We support local business but this type of business will continue to do this to customer for as long as no consequences are being made for their actions. I do not recommend this business to anyone and I'm reaching out to better business bureau for a better outcome.

  We pride ourselves in our tire service.  We would never sell any damaged tires.  Also, if our tire technicians saw a damaged tire, they would report it to front desk staff and customer immediately.  Sorry that you were unhappy with service, but we do not hold onto any damaged tires here, or would ever sell them.

  They evidently sold defected tires. Regardless of their response, this place is a scam and fraud. They sold tires that had multiple holes. Either they didn't bother to check or their technician is inexperience.

  5/1/2024 completed tire change over. Took vehicle on the highway and noticed it was shaking. Took the vehicle in for a rebalancing and they informed me that two of my rims were bent and as a result causing the vibrations while driving. The company clearly damaged my rims during the change over because it was driving perfectly fine before I took it into the shop. They refused to provide me with video footage of my change over service to prove otherwise nor did they bother to explain how else it could have possibly happened and rather ordered me to leave.

  April 17th 2022, I had my vehicle towed to Balthazar tire after a nearly fatel blowout. I was quoted a price for 2 new tires. But upon arrival Balthazar the owner told me that he had miss qouted me because I gave him the wrong tire size. He also told me that I only needed to replace the Completely blownout tire.which Should have Saved me about $200. April 18th 2022 at around 930am I Recieve a call and Voicemail from one of the tire technicians. He doesn't state Why he is calling Just asks for me to call back Which I did. I'm told that my vehicle is ready and the total for one tire would bes $230 Instead of $380 for tires.at this I become Confused and ask Why the price Change? I think I was speaking to his wife at this point. She starts to become huffy saying I purposely gave her Wrong info origionally.Speed to explain I was only going off what if said online and I didn't have the car infront of me when I first Requested the quote.?But eitherway I needed the tire and the wrong price. didn't matter so long as my car was safe for me and my two small children. I am currently homeless and living out of my vehicle. I also told.them this not for sympathy bit to hopefully have them make it super safe. This dis not happen. I was unable to come myself and pick up KY vehicle that Saturday April 18th so I has my sister swing by and grab the keys since I laid over the phone. She did this and on Sunday April 19th we go and I collect my car. The front right passenger tire is nearly completely flat. Mind you this is the one I paid to be replaced by a brand new tire. It was not.i air up the tire not once , or twice but multiple times that Sunday finally having to put fix a flat I the tire just to make it home. When I call and ask exactly what was done to.my car and let the owner know of the issue 4/20 he promptly starts screaming in my face saying that he will just take the tire off completely and he hopes me and my children die horribly. I just wanted a refund or replacement.
