Purchased what I was lead to believe were natural diamonds rom Jewel palace ,while on a cruise Sep 17.I was assured that the diamonds were vs1 or vs2. I requested an appraisal and was assured that the appraisal would be sent within the next week. I asked it these diamonds were *** certified and was told they were *** certified. I purchased what I thought to be diamond studs and a diamond ring. When I arrived home and opened the box with the earrings and ring i discoverd that the receipt was for 2 items containing lab grown diamonds . The items had no prices attached to them , just a total for both items. This was the first time that I became aware that I had purchased lab grown diamonds. I immediately called the store and was advised that they dont take phone calls only emails.. I sent an email and after a week with no response I contacted the credit card company, which the jewel palace encouraged me to open (another great deal, they said). I have filed a dispute. 2 weeks after the dispute was filed I received an email from jewel palace stating that I had been informed of the lab created stones, which I denied. They said they would kindly offer a store credit or they would be happy to assist me in purchasing the natural diamonds that I thought I had purchased for an additional fee.. I declined both offers, I dont have plans to be back to ********* within the next year not did I want to purchase anything else from them. The dispute is still open with the credit card company. It was then when I went to the bbb only to discover that they had an f rating with other reports similar to mine

Jewelry store committed fraud by telling me that the earrings, tennis bracelet and ring I bought from them are real diamonds. They are lab grown diamonds. I called the retailer that I will return them but he refused the merchandise when the return arrived at the store. I filed a dispute with ***** Fargo where he helped me apply for financing to pay it when I first bought the jewelry.

To Whom It May ************************ customer *********************************** visited our store during her cruise visit to *********. She was looking at a lot of jewelry items and was very much impressed with the Lab Grown diamonds as well as the Earth Mined diamonds. But because of the price difference in both she preferred to purchase the Lab grown diamonds as the quality was much higher and the price was well within her comfort. She was also offered the financing option where she chose to pay it in 6 months with no interest. All the necessary receipts and Appraisals have been provided to the customer and are also attached to this response for your reference. Please note that the merchandise was not misrepresented in any way and all comparisons were made before ******* herself chose to go ahead with the purchase. This is clearly a case of buyers remorse and the company cannot be held responsible for this. Although since we stand behind all our products, we are ready to offer ******* to exchange or upgrade her pieces purchased for any other item in the store within 60 days of purchase date. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you.

On 9/15/23, my husband ******************* and I purchased an Alexandrite gem pendant from Jewel Palace for $945. It was represented as a natural gem. We asked for the appraisal and they said it would be sent by email after the purchase. (Never received.) In February 2024, I took the pendant to an appraiser who informed me that it was man-made and only worth about $50. This is fraud and I want a refund from Jewel Palace. I tried to contact Jewel Palace and have not been able to resolve this issue.

We were shopping for real Alexandrite. We were shown a selection of stones. We were shown the color change in the store and in direct sun light. We were told the stones were real. We asked where they were from and they claimed they were from a mine in ******. At no point was there mention of Synthetic Alexandrite. On the receipt there was no mention of synthetic or lab Alexandrite. There was no disclosure during the sale or after the sale. When we got back from the cruise and had the stones appraised at a gem/jeweler we found all the stones were synthetic and worth $125. We paid thousands.

July 2nd, My wife and I had just gotten off the **************** celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary We entered the Jewel Palace. congratulations given, offered liquor, water, soda, offered a ride back to the ship. Kept showing different stones for my wife and got my wife and I talking about the different rings. NEVER at any time mentioned or explained the difference in lab created diamonds vs minded diamonds. NO DISCLOSURE of any kind. They misrepresented their products. After getting home, I read the sales receipt they had so conveniently placed in a sealed envelope knowing we only had 15 mins to get to the ship to board. Then I read; " lab created" diamonds. We purchase a 2 1/2 caret princess cut stone in which they placed it on a gold band she was wearing of her own. They sold us another ring; 1 1/2 caret for a total of $7,452.00.On top of it all, we traded my wife's 14k ring with 1/2 caret princess cut with 2- 1/4 princess cut trillions that were REAL mined diamonds purchased over 20+ years ago. They never disclosed the value of her ring exchanged on the receipt or during the sales presentation. they just said; " I'll tell you what, we will sell you this 2 1/2 princess cut loose diamond for $3,852.00. It sounded like a 'good deal'. Than I was ****** a mans ring. My wife and I discussed it I was scared. I told them that I was concerned,we had spent enough and that my band was ok. They said that I could keep my band and throw in the men's ring for another $3200.00. I have found out that retailers are suppose to disclose that they are "lab grown diamonds" and to explain the difference between minded vs lab grown to be able to make an educated decision. There was no discussion, I didn't even find out until getting home a few days later. I opened the sealed envelope and saw the words; "LAB GROWN". I reported it to the ************************ with the same story and the ****** Better Business Bureau and COC in town expressing my concerns, disappointment.
