** purchased Moss Boss Remove/Prevent **** Growth package ($840) for my home's roof, along with the 5-yr preventative plan ($1100) in September 2022. The preventive plan was discussed and agreed that Moss Boss would come each fall for the liquid application service and gutter cleaning. The owner asked us to contact him each spring to schedule for the fall. The company did a great job on the original **** removal effort. However, we heard nothing from the company in the summer of 2023 on the annual preventative treatment. I called the company the first week of April 2023 to schedule for the fall. The owner text on 6 April, ** will be firing service back up in the next week or two depending on the weather. Can you please confirm your address for us please? I replied the same day with my address and a request to schedule the annual service in late September. On 13 September (no reply the entire summer) I text asking to confirm when the treatment would occur. His reply, "I was in the rotation". His next text, "You can expect your service any day now. On 11 October, he relied to my request again with, ...I see that you are still on the rotation. Finally, after weeks, and still no service nor communication from the company, on 30 November I reminded him of his contract, and asked for a refund for season 2023 ($220). The response received was that he will apply those first thing in the spring if we didnt get to it this fall. ** will just tack an additional year on your policy. At his point, I am seeking a refund of the $220 spent on the prevention plan for season 2023. ** purchased the prevention plan mostly for the gutter cleaning so the leaf build up doesnt get heavy due to the snow melt freezing. And, if I dont get service in the spring (which is not what I want or agreed to), I will be requesting a full refund of $1100.I want others to be aware of the business owners lack of responsibility and inability to uphold his contract promises.

I purchased **** removal for my home's roof, along with a 5-yr preventative plan form Moss Boss in Jul 2022. Purchase price of the removal was $1290, and the price of the preventative plan was an additional $1200 for the five year period. The company did a great job on the original removal effort. However, I heard nothing from the company throughout the summer of 2023 in regards applying the annual treatment. I reached out to the company on the 25th of September, hoping to gain a little fidelity on when the treatment would occur, and I was met with poor communication and vague responses. Shortly after my initial call I received a couple texts stating that I could expect service "any day now," or "before the weekend." After three weeks, and still no service nor communication from the company, I inquired again and was given a very generic answer of "we are still making the rounds." At this point I asked for a refund, and at this time, the owner (***********************) became hostile and threatening. He sent me a text that stated "You might want to research who you are messing with. I belong to a group that rides on two wheels. Three patches. Three. Seperate patches. You threaten my livelihood again and you won't be able to stop what's coming." In another text he wrote "You're threatening my business green lights you. I see one comment from you, you're getting the green light. F****** moron. If the BBB contact me or anyone brings up your property, it's gonna be a problem." All told, I am seeking a refund of the $1200 spent on the prevention plan, but more importantly, I am writing in hopes that there is a way to check the threatening nature of the business owner.
