    I applied and tried tirelessly to get in contact to no avail. The one time I was able to get in touch with *****, I expressed that I needed to move by 11/18/2022 and that I was considering multiple properties. The level of service was non existent and disrespectful. After not being able to get an answer by phone or return call for 2 weeks we were able to secure a place through another realty company. The process with the new company took days-applied on 11/11/2022, approved on 11/14/2022, and moved in on 11/18/2022. Rising Tide finally contacted me on 11/16/2022, 11/18/2022, and 11/21/2022 and was unwilling to refund the application fee because I didn't respond to their request for paystubs on 11/16/2022 (at this point 1 month since I applied with them and we approved for another place and coordinating our move), so I had to dispute it with my bank. They took over a month to get back with me! My experience with this company was very disappointing, especially since I was referred by a current tenant of and the company was really talked up. Also, one of the properties I visited we were greeted by a city inspector that was leaving a cease and desist for operating a commercial business (rental house) without a license.

    I live next door to one of Rising Tides properties for over 3 years now. The back yard hasn't been mowed since we've lived here. It's overgrown and the last renter moved out in May. Since that time a few people have been by there to do various repairs,but no one has cut the back yard. The front yard has been cut. The man who cut the grass said he'd need a lot more money to cut the grass in the back yard. I even went so far as to call the city and file a complaint. I was told the only thing they would be able to do is lodge a complaint with the landlord and hope hehe complies. So far, nothing else has been done except for the front yard being cut. The address is 446 Gene Reed Rd, Birmingham Alabama,35215. My next step is to alert the media and see if that gets their attention. I'm giving them 2 weeks.

    I CALLED TODAY ABOUT A QUESTION AND THE GIRL IN THE COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT IS VERY RUDE AND HAS A SMART TONE AND SHOULDNT BE WORKING IN A JOB WHERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS INVOLVED SHE THINKS SHE CAN GET SMART WITH TENANTS AND ITS OK AND SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE THIS IS NOT HER FIRST TIME GETTING SMART I LET IT GO SEVERAL TIMES THINKING TO MYSELF MAYBE SHE JUST HAVING A BAD DAY LAST TIME TIME SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE WHEN YOU ARE DEALING WITH PEOPLE IN GENERAL YOUR TONE AND CHOICE OF WORDS SHOULD BE DIFFERENT ESPECIALLY IN CUSTOMER SERVICE I AM NOT DONE WITH THIS ISSUE UNTIL SOMETHING GETS DONE ABOUT HER I USUALLY DONT POST OR WORRY ABOUT THINGS LIKE THIS I MOVE PASS IT BUT IM NOT LETTING THIS GO THIS TIME AND SOMETHING WILL BE DONE BECAUSE THAT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE IF I TALK TO YOU CALM AND WITH RESPECT I FEEL U SHOULD TALK WITH RESPECT AS WELL VERY UNPROFESSSIONAL I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY AND ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

    So before this company took over things was find but when they decided to take over they have gone through many different mangers and mind you I stay in Montgomery and I mail money orders in every month until they made it an issue so started paying on the tenet portal finally on the same days as my money orders say now I can’t even access the portal to pay my rent and they are coming with all kinds of charges saying I paid only ****** cents of my rent when I have the screenshots showing when it was paid now they have denied me access to pay on the portal now wow. After five years of living at this residence new management wanna make it hard. May I add I’m a disable veteran and this how I’m treated. Just sad ??

    Nothing good to say about these people. Had a central air unit go down twice in the middle of summer and they took their time fixing the problems kids in the home or not. They're adding extra fees onto services that they don't provide like garbage. The city told me the service was one price and they're charging me another price. Which I believe is against the law. Someone really needs to look into their business as soon as possible because something isn't right.

    We are sorry to hear about your negative experience with your air conditioning; that was several months back and we don't know the details of what happened. However, we try to send maintenance people as soon as we can.

    As far as the garbage; we state in the lease that garbage will be billed to the tenant if the landlord is required to pay the garbage bill. We would much prefer that the tenant pay their own garbage bill however some municipalities ask the landlord to pay and get reimbursed from the tenant.

    This morning I spoke to LT who is a manager. I was trying to pay my late rent in full today which was *******. LT refused the rent payment from the primary Lease holder which is my husband. Due to us having a tone with each other when she couldnt talk to me with respect. She initially said they were sending the file to their attorney on tomorrow but since I got back with her in tone she is maliciously refused payment from my husband this morning and stated they are filing with attorney today. The manager LT is very unprofessional. She actually has life messed up if she thinks she can talk to people crazy and not get talked back to the same way. Regardless of feelings my payment shouldnt be refused because she wants to prove a point. I plan on taking this very far. And a few extra hundred dollars to attorneys still wont kill me. However, this needs to be addressed. Empathy is apart of service. You dont need to carry a tone with tenants. You manage the company and your household not other adults outside of your company.
