    Do not under any circumstances trust these people with servicing your vehicle. Do not allow these people to repair your vehicle if it is in an accident, they will not do it in-house. They will send it off and have cut-rate work done and attempt to pass you the car back without even doublechecking that the separate collision center fixed all necessary items. I wanted to make sure that it was handled by the franchise dealership and done correctly with the open checkbook of my insurance, a claim was filed and they promptly sent the vehicle to a secondary location which performed substandard work and did not repair the vehicle correctly. Just squirt some paint on it and send it. The car had Air suspension problems when it went in and came back un-repaired and un-serviced. Upon receiving a completely filthy vehicle from their drop off driver, the dash was illuminated requiring a service B1 immediately that was not performed. The vehicle has been back there now for one month today. The insurance claim was reopened and there is an additional $12,000 worth of work to be completed on the car. I was promised the car back on July 8 as there was a parts hold with their parts sources that they insist on using, by the way, I can still have the same parts overnighted to me personally for tomorrow. I am now told as of today that the parts wont even be there until the 30th now I have been lied to dozens of times. Every single solitary person that I have spoken with and dealt with (all over the phone as I live 100 miles away and have never been in person to the dealership ) at Mercedes-Benz of Dothan has lied to me in some way shape or form. Do not under any circumstances trust them with your Mercedes or go anywhere near this dealership, unless obviously its a warranty claim, and you are local to them. They are wholly incompetent and do not represent the level of care and the quality of service that you would expense out of a franchise Mercedes-Benz store.

    I was travelling alone and my yellow lantern light came on in my Mercedes GLC 300. I got to Dothan to Mike Schmitz Automotive Mercedes in Dothan Alabama. I took my car in and was told by the service manager I had a malfunction in my ignition coil #4. This was after service examined the car with a computer analysis He advised me no ignition coil parts were available in the US due to Covid. I thought this was odd but I believed him. He then told me service did some sort of interim repair and the the warning light was now off. I started the vehicle and the light was still on. I advised him I did not feel safe driving the vehicle 6 hours by myself with this warning light on. He took the vehicle back to service and he advised me it's an electrical problem and I can have a part here tomorrow. I wanted to leave the car but he was adamant I drive it to my hotel and bring it back in the morning. I was worried about driving the car but felt I had no choice. When I picked the car up the next day, my service invoice had the ignition coil replacement listed as the part. This was the same part, per the service manager, which was not obtainable 24 hours ago. When I looked in my glove compartment for sunglasses, I realized several items had been taken. One item cannot be replaced. I checked with my dealer in Macon, Ga and was advised the ignition coils were not scarce and they could order one in a day. I am extremely disappointed to be treated this way. The service manager told me he has a daughter-I wonder how he would feel about his daughter being treated in the unfair way. If I could provide no stars for this review, I would. I have to leave a rating of 1 star to file this complaint. I will appreciate an apology.
