            On 12/13/23, *****'s Pest Control supposedly serviced my mother's (I'm speaking on her behalf) house (**********************************************) for a treatment. No contract was signed nor was there any sort of authorization from anyone for the treatment. My mother had a long standing relationship with this company previously and never had an issue. She was not living at the residence at the time. We were in the process of selling the house at the time, and it has been sold since. After having a conversation with two different people on 2/29/24, it was agreed that I would check to see if my mother was still interested in having her house treated inside (they only supposedly treated outside) and if she agreed I would get back with them to arrange. She decided against the treatment and the company has billed her for a complete treatment that she never 1. received and 2. authorized. I expected the charge to be waived due to this but the company has since turned the bill over to collections. The company misled me over the phone to believe they were willing to work with us due to the miscommunication and willing to cancel the existing charge due to them supposedly treating with no authorization.

            We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this customer and remediate the situation (we will refer to them as customer as this may be viewed publicly).More importantly, we appreciate this customers willingness to accept our efforts to correct our mistake. After thorough evaluation of our records, we can confirm we connected with the customer same-day of viewing this complaint (8/23/24); we apologized and let them know that we have removed them from collections and credited their account resulting in a $0 balance (please see $0 balance attachment). The customer was very kind and appreciative and is all set.

            We take accountability for this matter and are happy to report that everything has been resolved. Thank you.
