Prior to closing I was informed by ******, on-site construction manager, of a list of items that needed to be addressed. ****** stated that I needed to file with the warranty company Embassy uses. I did so. Closed on the new home in June of 2022. ****** has been told numerous times of items that have not been addressed. Just prior to the one year warranty expiring ****** came by, again, and I showed him the open items that needed addressed. He always states that he will have someone come by to take care of it. Now its October and nothing has been done. Ive notified the warranty company that these items are still open. The warranty company basically stated that they had no control but would notify Embassy of my concerns. This is the worst builder that Ive dealt with and Ive owned 6 new homes over the years. They appear to not care about their obligations to their customers. I still am wanting these items addressed, some minor but some serious ones like the cracks in the driveway that are becoming a concern.

We would like to apologize for the confusion. Contractor should be contacting you this week to repair issues. We will stay on top of this situation to make sure it does not continue to fall through the cracks. Your satisfaction is our main concern and again we apologize for your frustration.

    Complaint: 20774626

I am rejecting this response because:

Rear door trim is the only item that has been addressed. There are still numerous items that have not been addressed and resolved

    Sincerely,

    Complaint: 20774626

I am rejecting this response because:

On site superintendent did contact me but no one has showed up  to repair cracks in driveway, hole in patio slab, and rough finish on foundation near garage. Today (Dec 6) the shower door was adjusted and hopefully fully closes with house expansion during weather changes, which I wont know until that time.

    Sincerely,

I purchased a new construction home from Embassy Homes, with a closing date on 04/20/2021. Throughout the construction process, I brought up multiple issues and concerns with the building quality/processes that were being utilized in the construction of the home. Upon construction completion, we performed our pre-closing punch-list walkthrough with the builder, to identify any items that would need to be corrected in order for me to contractually accept the home. Over the following 12-months, my realtor has worked tirelessly to try to get Embassy to complete the items, that they agreed to before my closing on the home, to no avail. Embassy has provided at best, poor excuses, but generally no response at all. As an Engineer having worked in the construction and project management field for over 13 years, this company has displayed not only some of the poorest project management, but also customer service, that I have ever seen. My home warranty expires tomorrow, on 04/20/2022, and as of today, Embassy has made no effort or attempt to resolve any of my pre-closing punch-list items. So, essentially, my warranty will expire before my house has even been completed. 12-months into the ownership of a home that was nearly a half-million dollars, and I still have green tape on walls, waiting on repairs to be made. In exchange for my inconvenience and Embassy's breach of contract and overall poor customer service, I am requesting that my punch list be completed and my 12-month workmanship, systems, and structural warranty be renewed to cover a period of 12-months from the date my home is fully completed. I will never recommend this builder to anyone who is looking to build a home in this area.
