Crawl space on 800 sq work performed not acceptable, and does not comply with the terms of the contract. Not to code. The job was carelessly completed because he was dealing with a 72 year old Woman. 12/2024 He requested to sign a completion form stating the job has been completed, I refused to sign because it has not been professionally inspected. In good faith I made a payment w/ a check but I was able to put a stop-payment, As of today, he is demanding payment and sending harassing responses via emails if I dont make the payment saying : I will send a sheriff to you with a copy of the cancel checkThe harassment needs to STOP.

    Dear Better Business Bureau Representative,

Thanks you for allowing me the opportunity to respond to the complaint . I value my customers and strive to provide the highest quality of service in every interaction, which can be seen by our 114 - 5 star reviews on ******. Regarding the concerns raised by this particular client, I would like to clarify the following: We were hired, by written contract to stabilize the floor framing system with attempt to lift. we installed 12 floor supports with supplemental beam and raise her floor 3 inches in some areas. When we arrived on site and my guys were unloading, the first thing this client said to me was that we did not have enough materials. I have  never had that happen before, and they were incorrect. We always require a 30 percent deposit for materials, but after she told me she had been done wrong by the previous contractor, I did not collect one from this client. I made a special trip to my distributer to buy a 12 mil moisture barrier for her, because  the standard 6 mil that we install regularly, was not good enough, and I only charged her the 6 mil cost. I repeatedly showed her the floors were leveled on the inside and she was happy. she even asked if we could install a wood heater for her when we completed the job. I showed her all the completion photos at the end of the job, and she was happy with the work. My printer battery had died that day and I told her I would email it to her. It is simply a form, created by Pinnacle Foundation Systems to put in the employees file. She gave me a check for $6,965.00 and we left. The check was deposited, and was returned by the **** for non sufficient funds. She texted me later on the day she wrote the check and asked me to hold for a few days till the funds would be transferred. I told her that it was deposited and there was nothing I could do. the client was fully informed of the cost of the work commenced and agreed to the terms.  After several emails back and forth, she said that if we relied to her email, she would consider it harrassment. We have not contacted her since, except to send her a letter stating that she had 10 days, by law, to make her bad check good. This lady knows how to play the game and uses her age to her advantage. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matte amicably and collect payment for the completed work ,the client has chosen not to fulfill their financial obligation. I believe this complaint is not a reflection of the quality of work provided but rather an attempt to avoid paying for services that were agreed upon and completed. Thank you for your time and attention Please feel free to contact me directly at ************ if additional details or clarification is required.

    Sincerely,

    **** ******
