Project Experience

US Steel has been a valued customer since 1993; we have had a consistent presence at the Fairfield facility for 20 years. We complete firm price and T&M work for many different construction projects. We strive to be the go to contractor for this facility in any way we can. We recently completed a mass excavation project in the slag management building which consisted of excavated 12,000cy of bad soil and replacing it with compacted stone for drainage. This project was required to be completed on a strict schedule that required around the clock work which we were successful at completing. This project also included a concrete water containment and pump foundation. We also completed many other projects recently including a rail car scale foundation, all site work and installation of five (5) storm shelters, remodeling the administration building, and pouring a new slab in the axel shop (1,200cy of concrete covering 50,000sqft floor).
