I booked this hotel for two of our employees that are doing work in the area. Not only were the rooms filthy, not cleaned, no sheets on the bed, etc. But the rooms have black mold on the ceilings and walls. I spoked to the front desk manager and she acknowledged that she knew they had mold in their rooms and the rooms were not up to par. This hotel is putting people's life at risk because this is a severe health hazard! Please see my review on ****** to view the photos of the rooms.

I booked a room in December 2022, which had to be paid in full by December 30th to secure it for **************************. The cost was outrageous, I thought, but was explained that rooms downtown were much higher. Upon checking in 2 people walked in on Sunday afternoon, asking if there were any available rooms. They were told yes and each booked a room for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights paying over 2/3's less than what I had paid. I questioned the clerk, she in turn called the **** Her response was, I had paid Suite prices. NO! I had a room with a king *** in it and it was smaller than the rooms down the hall. Prior to leaving I personally talked to the ** who stated unfortunately this was out of her hands and the only person who could help was the District Manager. Besides the price gouging, our room was hot, the a/c wasn't putting out, we cleaned the filters and the gunk was so thick that it stopped up the tub when cleaning it. That didn't help. We called maintenance, who came in worked on the unit. Still didn't help. We were told to keep the curtains closed as well as the bathroom door as the air was escaping through the vent??? We did. It got hot again. They came in replaced the unit and all of a sudden it started pouring water. They had to come back to tilt the unit allowing the water to drain back. The room was filthy. The floors were black. It appeared they had never been mopped. The curtains were almost off the brackets, the bathroom door would not shut, the front door the kickplate was hanging off the door. I'm awaiting a call from the District Manager to see what can be done about the unfair charges and conditions of the room.

Hello ***************************, Thank you for your time for a phone conversation this afternoon Friday 24th, 2023 at 2:30 PM. First of all our sincere apologies for the experience and issues you had during your stay. We believe no guest should have the issues you mentioned and please be rest assured that we will do a full investigation and follow up on all the issues you mentioned. As far as the pricing goes for the rooms at our hotel, we decide the industry standard according to the supply and demand of the market and have this going on at all the properties we have, not only Quality *********** As we discussed and you also agreed that we have guaranteed **************** as you made a prepayment for that room hence if we do drop the rates if the demand is less on the last day, it is just a business decision. I can also be honest to say that we did not have that huge difference in rates and the rates that you have heard might be wrong and/or not even be for your type of room. Again as per our phone conversation in the past hour, we will like to talk to you personally about the issues you had in the rooms and I shall be reaching out to you personally on Monday. As you mentioned that you have been coming to our hotel for the past ***** years and we will definitely like to keep you coming back to our hotel and enjoy the yearly Mardi Gras tradition that you and your family have, next year too.Hope to resolve this issue with you and have you come back next year for your annual family ********** celebration.Thank you
