My son was ill in ******* ****. I took him to Mainstreet Urgent Care where he was only diagnosed with the flu from a physician virtually. No treatment was given and I paid the $50.00 copay which my insurance company at the time required. My insurance doesn't have a deductible. On yesterday I was billed an additional $129.00 from Mainstreet Urgent Care without my consent. I haven't visited Mainstreet since October and I don't understand the additional charge. Please help me with this issue. Thank you.

On 1/28/24, I made an appointment online at MainStreet Urgent Care (It was a Sunday and my PCP was not open). I was experiencing a whole bunch of symptoms, but the worst being a  When prompted, I arrived at the facility, checked-in (on an IPad), paid my $75 co-pay and waited in an empty lobby (no one at front desk). After about 45 min, I was taken back to get my vital signs. ** ***** **** *** ***** ******** **** ******** ********. After my VS were taken, I waited about 30 more min alone, in an exam room. Eventually, an NP, Frances T***** came in (only know her name from the >$500 bill I just got from my insurance). She sat in the corner, asked a few questions about my symptoms, then looked in my ears. "Yup, its an *** *********** I asked her if she was sure, ** *** ****** ** **** ** ** ***** ******* ***** ***. to account for any of the other symptoms I reported. "Nope its just an *** *********". She did not follow up on any abnormal VS, *** ******* *** ******** ******** ** **** ** ***** ** *** ****** ********* ******** I was experiencing. I was given no discharge summary, instructions, or receipt. Just told to leave through the doors to the parking lot. Not only did I have to follow up with a different provider at another establishment, I got a nice $547.47 bill for various services I did NOT receive (although maybe I should have) such as COVID-19 testing, a "test for ************* * ********** **** * ****** ****** *** ***** ******* ************* *** work. Again, I did not have a single prick, poke, or swab, conducted or lab work of any kind. Provider simply looked in my ears then charged my insurance for services not rendered. I am unable to reach them by phone (I keep trying and have tried several different #s) to resolve and was never provided a 'my chart' access to communicate (and get error messages when attempting to create an account). I have provides photos from 1/28 and charges.

On June ** 2022 I went to Main Street Family Care for a six month follow up appointment with my primary care provider. In January I saw her for the first time and was told there was no charge for the visit. Prior to June 6th I had gone in for the 6 month followup appointment but was told that the co-pay would be $35.00 yet my insurance card clearly shows Primary Care visits were $5.00, after some discussion I told them to cancel my appointment and I would find another provider. The next week I received a phone all from someone at the office asking how my visit went, I told her what had happened and that I was going to find another primary care. We ended the conversation and she said that she would speak with the office manager. Later that day the office manager, whose name I did not get but was a male, reviewed the situation with me again and then assured me that any time I see my primary care there is NO CHARGE and would I like to reschedule my appointment. I told him that I would be happy to pay my $5.00 co-pay but he assured me there would be no charge. I rescheduled, had my appointment, was not asked for a co-pay when I went in for the appointment. I thought this was resolved. I am now getting bills for the visit, have spoken with many people about this, I paid the $5.00 that I owe for seeing my primary and have been told that this office manager had given me the wrong information and because they are also an Urgent Care facility they have to bill primary visits as urgent care. Again, this was not told to me. I feel that they are defrauding the public and the insurance companies by offering "Primary Care" but billing it to insurance companies and the public as Urgent Care. Note the name of business is MainStreet Family Care and billed to insurance company as ***** ****************
