I set up an account at Emerald Mountain Expressway. I know that I could also use it at the other to location in Alabama. My mom lives at 1** ************ **. ********, AL *****. My brother also lives at this address. He works in Montgomery,AL. My aunt lives at ** ******* **** **. ********, AL *****. My sister lives at *** ********* **** ******** AL *****. I set this up so if my mother or Aunt needed me I could stop and just go to them and not worry about money or anything else. Then COVID hit, I was not allowed to see my mother, aunt or anyone else. I have a medical Condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. It is a very complex disease/condition. It affects many ares of the body, and with that it affect the immune and autoimmune ares. So in turn I couldn't get the Covid shot. In all that time I never thought of the pass. I recently tried to use it and I was told the account was closed. I told them at the booth I had $60 on the account. I tried another 3 times but the same outcome. I called and they told me they closed the account because of non use and no refunds. I told them this was not fair because of both US Government orders and Alabama orders on Covid. I recalled them today and they once again told me no on refund and that COVID orders does not affect the agreement I signed. At the time I signed the paperwork and took the pass and paper work. They said they would send the contract that I signed to my email. They did not allow me to read the contract I signed at the business, on the day I signed it. They did not tell me this. I did not want them to have my credit card number so the only other option was to put cash done on your account, which I did. If they would have told me at that time of this clause I would have never opened the account. I would have hid the money in my truck. What would happen if I had my credit card on file with them. Does it state that they can take money from that account and then close the account that you have with them.
