I called and asked how much is a diagnostic fee for an ATV and I was told from $69.00 to $129.00 or 139.00. I dropped it off a few days later and the lady who wrote up the ticket said there was a three day wait. She also took down some information from me but said the person who looks at it will call me first. A week later I called and was told they were behind. A few days later an employee called and said they had started and was having some difficulty but they would continue their diagnostic. I told him that I had expected a call from them before the diagnostic so I could provide them details of what I knew. He then asked me my info. Today an employee contacted me by text and said they were still having trouble and he sent me pictures of my ATV with some parts undone and a picture of a new part he had installed. I never gave authorization for a new part. I replied by text reminding him that I was told up to $139 for a diagnostic and asked where are you now. He said the part is $119 and $129 for labor. I called and he couldn't give me any indication for what it would cost but said he couldn't continue unless I approved to pay for more time but he couldn't give me an estimate of how much more time. I asked for him to remove the part that I did not give them authorization to install and I would pay a $139.00 for an unfinished diagnostic. He said they couldn't do that. I said I was going to the BBB. A couple minutes later, the manager called and we again discussed the same thing. I said I would pay the diagnostic fee but I didn't want the part and have someone take it off. He said then Ill have to charge you a half an hour labor fee. I told him I would come up their and take it off. At some point he said if I wanted the ATV put back together from diagnostic then it would cost more labor. We went in circles a few time then I said I was going to get the BBB involved to help solve the matter. He said go ahead, I've dealt with them before.
