Please avoid the same mistakes I made. Unfortunately I live in a high risk area where storm damage can repeatedly occur, especially to roofs. I storm came through and damaged mine. There were a lot of outside contractors trying to get business. After talking to neighbors and friends, I chose to go with a local contractor, Willis and Sons roofing. They seemed very polite and sincere in wanting to help. Now, unfortunately, the mistakes I made. I did not get anything in writing, I was fooled by them being local and kind. Second, I gave them my entire insurance check before the work was completed. I know you are probably wondering why would you do that, and I understand. I have contacted them more times than I care to admit. Their responses have always been apologetic and reassuring that they will correct it. Their kindness gave me hope for a long time, but no longer. They kept money for replacement items that never were replaced. Promised to make it right, then did nothing. I write this to warn others to not make the same mistakes I did with this company. Their apologize’s mean nothing more then to silence you and hope you go away. From the owner all the way down to the employee’s are giving empty promises. Next damaging storm I will be better prepared.Review from Dottie L

I am beyond impressed with Willis and Sons Roofing! They have completely restored my faith in contractors. What stood out the most was their response when we encountered a problem at the start of the job. I called Mr. Willis, and he personally came out, listened to our concerns, and corrected the issue right away. His attention to detail didn’t stop there—he went above and beyond to help with our insurance claim. Mr. Willis noticed items that were left off that we would have never caught, and thanks to him filing them, we received more money from the insurance. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care made this experience stress-free. Highly recommended!

This company repaired the roof of a rental property in April of 2018. We were altered of several rotted boards that needed to be replaced, all of which we gave approval and paid for. Earlier this year, we were doing some interior remodeling and ended up tearing out the ceiling in the same area the roof had been repaired and noticed the same rotted boards were still there!! We have tried to contact the company about this issue, and he has been completely nonresponsive. We also just found out that he doesn't currently have a roofing license, not is he bonded to protect against such instances, so BEWARE!!!Willis and Son Roofing, LLC Response

Mr Hurley had some windows broken from a recent storm. The Windows were absent from the original "Scope of Loss" from his insurance company. We told Mr Hurley that we could try to file a supplement claim with his insurance company. We tried several times to convince them to pay for new windows. Ultimately, they denied the supplement for the windows and Mr. Hurley is now accusing us of lying and broken promises.
