BEWARE!!!!!!! Scott *********; the owner of Construction Arts is a dishonest man in so many ways! We trusted him to fix our home that was hit by a tornado…big mistake! He was either late or canceled every meeting, He fattened every bill/invoice he gave us! We never received any receipts or even a contract that we requested for months! He charged us $6,000 to unlock the door and let workman in but instead we found our keys under a pot @ the back door! His crew broke several things in our home and he charged us for them to be repaired! The craftsmanship with each job was so poor that we have to start completely over now! He talks a good game but will not follow through on any of his promises! He insists on being paid before any job has been completed or even inspected! Once he’s paid and we inspected the work he says he can not fix the things that we weren’t happy with! He never repaired anything the way we discussed or agreed the way jobs would be repaired! It was so confusing…we never could figure out why things were done his way rather than the customers way??? He took us for a very expensive ride! We lost $91K trusting him! We have been in a hotel for a year tho the house is still not livable! When we finally let him go he was already 4 months over the agreed date of completion! He is hot tempered, childish (name calls) and acts like everything is the customers fault! Nothing but drama for a year! Someone needs to revoke his construction license! Please heed this warning…do not hire or trust him…you will regret it just like we do! Be careful…be your own contractor…our house is worse then it was before we hired Contruction Arts! We will be doing our homework from now on…talking to people and getting references…we have to support each other against dishonest people like this!!!!! God bless!
