I had a bad experience dealing with Fairway Lawns. I reached out three times in ten days to address persistent weed problems. I could not get a response from the Memphis office. I called the corporate office and was told the Memphis Manager was "busy". I could elaborate but it would never make a difference. I can see why their customer review rating is only 1.95/5 as of 8/28/2024. I canceled my service today. I would never recommend them.Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

I called Fairway Lawns in May to see when my next treatment will happen since I had only had 2 treatments. According to Fairway Lawns, they had treated my yard on 5/14/2024. I have been with their Lawn Service for 8 or 9 years. I told them my yard had not been treated. On 6/19/2024, I called the Little Rock the main office and explained to them what was happening. I told them I don't mind paying for something I received and not for something I did not. I was told they would send a Field Manager. Past due calls began coming from 6/24/2024 thru 8/13/2024, they were going to check on the problem. Then on July 26, 2024, Henry Royce their Field Manager showed up and looked my yard. He gave me a bill for the past due and I wrote a check for the amount of $41.00 and gave it to him. I kept telling them to check with their Field Manager Henry ***** he has the check. Then on August 7, 2024 I receive a collection notice and talked with a Mr. Carlito I told him that their Field Manager Henry ***** had the check for $41.00. I have called Mr. Royce at 901/491-**** to please call me back that was on 8/7/2024 and he did. He said he would go in to see his boss the next morning and clear this up and call me back which never happened. Then I got another letter from the collection agent on 8/13/2024. Reviews are usually a guide to how well services are rendered...My personal experience with Fairway Lawns has been 100% positive. This is because my tech Michael ******, treats his job and my lawn in a professional manner. I have replaced my lawn twice, once because of my failure, and second, cable company destroying my lawn. Michael took the time this application to assess my new lawn which we found out has those pesky worms (St. Augustine grass). Michael treated my lawn for those. He also advised he would return to check on progress of treatment. Kudos to Fairway Lawns for adding Michael ****** to their team.Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

I canceled my contract 6 months ago because the house is vacant and don’t need treatments. I continue to receive calls to schedule treatments, and at least 5 times I’ve told the caller the contract was canceled. Told the last caller that if I receive another call which I just got another call I would call the Better Business Bureau. I intend to do just that. If that doesn’t work I will be calling the state Attorney General office.Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

I have used Fairway lawns for a couple of years, and the service lately has been awful. My grass is dying and balding in spots. When I call them, I am told to do certain things that still have not corrected the issue. I would not recommend them,Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

At the present, we are currently having issues getting in touch with anyone from corporate. We had Bermuda sod put in July 2022. We started service with fairway in July 2023. We have photo proof that all through that time the grass looked great. We were using their services to treat weeds that were beginning to pop up in our yard. We have spoken to the local manager, who brought in an expert who confirmed that the yard was in fact dead. Now that that has been confirmed, they are only offering to pay for the sod itself, and not the installation. That is the most expensive part. So not only have we paid for services that have killed our lawn, but we’re being asked to pay for installation of the sod a second time. I have called customer service multiple times with promises of someone getting back to me from higher up, and that has yet to happen. We have given fairway plenty of time for the yard to green up, and plenty of time for an adequate response. I’ve talked Portia, and brett, and I believe two others who have all given me the same runaround. Greg is the local manager, who asked us to continue to wait for the lawn to green up. The other yards around us are green, with the same grass. I’m looking to have the cost of services refunded, as well them paying for the sod and installation to replace.Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

I had fairway until they killed the plants in my raised flower beds. I called and they said someone would come by to see the plants. I have tried several times to get in touch with no success. I now have been turned over to a collection company and they will not answer. All of my azaleas are almost dead and no one has contacted me.Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

It seems there is a misunderstanding as you did not have our tree/shrub service and we would not have sprayed around your flower beds. We certainly understand your distress about your flowers. We hired them back on March of 2023. They gave us a discount because we paid upfront for the treatments. we were told we would receive 8 treatments but because we started in March our 8th treatment would be in Jan of 2024. They would spray and tell us to do extra things to help our yard. We did everything they said only to end up with same problem but actually worse because what ever they used killed our grass. Every tech they sent would tell you something different. Called them a few weeks after one of the applications to see why the yard was worse and why they didnt treat the entire yard. They said they would send a tech out at no charge. I cancelled my account in December with them on the portal. It said they received it now only to receive a $75.00 bill for them coming out in Jan of this year. This treatment should be my 8th one that was already paid for. Of course I call to speak to someone and they tell me they cant find where I canceled and that I have already received my 8th treatment and this was an extra one. I tried to explain to them that was not correct and asked to speak to a manager only to be told they dont come in until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Its sad that you put your trust into a company only to find out they are try to rip you off. Per the last tech we now have to sod our entire yard if we want it to be nice.Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

I watched the technician as he fertilized my lawn. He skipped half of my yard. I watched him go back and forth at the top of my lawn then to front along street and then drive to other side of my house stopping halfway down. I confronted him and he said he would. When I returned to my house he was driving off. His bill said he also sprayed the weeds with liquid but that was just a lie. I would never recommend this company.Fairway Lawns, Inc. Response

Mr Jackson called in and has been contacted back within an hour or so of calling. We listened to his issues and reassured him it would be taken care of. He agreed to having a service call for the area missed on one side of the yard. The Spreader treats the weeds as the fertilizer is put out. The machine does both at one time. Nick, the field manager over the area reached out and talked to him yesterday about all this. We also credited the treatment for the inconvenience of him having to deal with this in this manner.Review from Mamie S

Worst lawn service in my nearly 20 years at this address. Rep informed me it would take up to 1 year before I would see any improvement in my lawn, after completing the service. I told him it would not take that long and I was not pleased with the service. Spoke several times with office managements to inform them of my conversation with the rep. More weeds appeared after a few days, none dying. I paid my bill and ask them not to contact me again. We hired another company to get rid of the weeds.
