    I called to request information regarding getting my services reconnected before extreme cold temperatures began seeing that I have 2 small children this affects. The first representative told me I would be able to get my services connected the same day I made payment as long as I agreed to pay an extra fee. I called and made payment today, after I made payment and attempted to schedule the reconnection I was then informed they would not be coming out until tomorrow. I asked if I could pay an extra fee to have it reconnected same day like I was told because I have 2 smaller kids in the home. I was then told that they do not offer same day reconnection even after explaining that I have 2 children that will be affected by the cold temperatures tonight & their representatives told me this inaccurate information. Seeing that I have 2 small children in home that this will effect, I find this extremely inhumane & inconsiderate of this company.

    The representatives in customer service don’t give accurate information. I called to activate service several times only to be misinformed regarding what was needed to turn on gas. Turns out being related to someone makes you liable for their debts to Summit, because after multiple attempts to prove my move in date I was still required to “contact a previous tentant”(my uncle in law) and pay the outstanding balance. Then the technician showed up to the house to turn or gas on and left without turning out gas on or contacting either myself or my fiancé. I would strongly suggest not getting gas through Summit utilities.

    This company charged me $672 for a gas bill. They made me wait over a month and half and won’t turn on my gas.

    Summits customer service is absolute trash. We received our bill and yes we should have paid when we got said bill. Sometimes things are short and sometimes bills get pushed aside. We never received a disconnect notice from summit and anytime in the past we were late we always…..ALWAYS got a shutoff notice. This time no notice and our gas shut off. Called into customer care and the person on the phone was excessively condescending and rude and when we matched her energy she stated she was trying to help in a respectful manner and would appreciate it if we would do the same! It’s sad when a company is a national company and backed by corruption and is so big they don’t have to care about the little person. Again I know we should have paid our bill. That is our responsibility and we dropped the ball. It is the companies responsibility to proper notification and they failed at that job and treated us like trash! If only there was a secondary option outside of propane.

    Worst customer service ever. The Tech came to reconnect. I answered his call and he stated he was on his way at 1:05pm. I opened my door at 1:15p and saw that I had a door hanger. The hanger stated that the Technician came and knocked. I called Summit and spoke with customer service by 1:20pm and the customer service was awful. After asking to speak to a manager. I asked why didn’t the technician ring the doorbell and I was told that they are not allowed to ring the doorbell because it could ignite if there’s a gas leak. I have a storm door. So the technician can tap on the door and just leave. I was told I had to pay more money for after hours or else wait an additional 3 days. Summit suck!!! I miss Energy. Not to mention how much my bill raised to in January.

    Moved into a rent house been here a month have had gas since. They messed up the clerical paperwork on their end. Turned off our gas in the middle of 20 degree weather for their mistake. Then made me reset up an account made me wait 3 business days and then proceeded to make me wait another business day for an appt for a tech to come out and turn it back on. The tech never came by between 8-5pm as they scheduled. I called every hour and was told they were still coming. No one ever showed I called the company and they said the tech showed up. That’s lies I took off work to be home for this and was home all day with the door open waiting for 8 hours. No one ever came out. They proceeded to tell me I would have to schedule another appt 3 days out. This is their fault. This company sucks and they could care less about the people paying them. If this wasn’t the only option in the state for gas I would never use them. Their customer service is terrible on the phone and In person. Honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had. If I could give them less stars I would. How can you penalize people when you as the company messed up. TWICE! And it’s on a recording of them admitting it’s their fault TWICE!

    Inflated charges since they took over for Centerpoint. My bill was always $20-$40/mo with Centerpoint and once Summit took over, I received a $500 bill. This company has poor customer service and is very hard to work with in terms of problem solving.

    If I could give this god forsaken company zero stars I WOULD. I’m using less heat than ever and my bill is 3 times what it was 2 months ago. This is robbery and the powers that be are allowing it.

    This business is the gas company in Little Rock area and does not have viable office to provide services. Everyone may not have computers or emails. They do not have a place where you can put in request for services. Their requirements are for you to email a lease to verify residents but refuses services because the lease does not look like they want it. Then lie and say they don't have all the documents, with no other options. We have been trying to get gas for our house for two months+ and still can't get service while it's getting colder outside as well as inside, because they only want to do business over email. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUSINESS EVER!!! Email and texting Only worse way to do busy!!!
