On August 24, 2023 our 2013 f350 broke down. *********************, (employee of commercial truck and trailer repair) happened to be around and approached my husband to offer his towing and repair services. My husband acceded since we are out of state and he needed to get back on the road as soon as possible. They did a diagnostic on our vehicle, stated it needed a fuel pump replacement however, the part would take a couple days and they needed **** deposit to work on the vehicle. My husband paid the deposit cash that day. On August 28, text messages were exchanged. They claimed vehicle needed six injectors replaced. we approved to have them changed out. On September 12, my husband went to the shop directly to get an update. According to them fuel pump was replaced, six injectors were replaced however, vehicle would not run because it needed to be reprogrammed by ****. My husband paid the remaining balance ******** for the repairs performed They offered to tow to ******************** free of charge. We agreed since only **** (original manufacturer) was the only one that could perform the reprogramming to get the truck running. We were waiting on them to drop the vehicle off at **** until finally on September 16 they dropped off my vehicle at ********************. On September 18 I called ******************** for the results on the performed diagnostic. Fuel pump needed to be replaced along with other parts. I told them those parts were already replaced. This was when we found out no work was done at commercial truck and trailer repair. I called commercial truck multiple times, they would ignore my calls, or they would not answer. On September 19 we drove down to confront commercial truck and trailer repair regarding our vehicle not getting any work done. We asked for our money back or speak to the owner, but they claimed he was on vacation. We also went to ********************, where mechanic showed us no work was done on our vehicle.
