JD Auto Repair was recommended to me, I called and spoke to the office Manager, ***** I think his name is, told him what I needed and asked if they were expert in older jeeps, was told YES, they work on lots of older vehicles no problem. Made an appointment. The main reason I took the jeep to them was due to "death wobble" at 45 MPH and the car was not driveable other than back and forth to work, it would shake violently and almost cause you to wreck, very dangerous especially since I AM 70 YEAR OLD!!! I came in early morning, told them EXPLICITELY THAT I WANT: TUNE UP, OIL CHANGE, TIRE ROTATION, AND TO REPAIR THE LIFTS ON THE HATCH SO THAT IT STAYS UP..AND FIX THE DEATH WOBBLE..well 1501.00 later they did ALL sorts of stuff to the car, including, repairing things they say it needed (they put in breaks, ha, just had them on one year before and never drove the vehicle till i took it to these guys!!! Also some sort of heater device that I knew nothing of and also did something to my steering) They did not fix the hatch INSTEAD THEY REPLACED MY REAR SHOCKS I DID NOT ASK FOR THEM TO DO THAT...AND AS SOON AS I DROVE THE CAR HOME AND WAS EXITING THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH IT WENT INTO DEATH WOBBLE AND ALMOST KILLED ME TO GET IT TO STOP IN THE TRAFFIC...I called and they said bring it back and the boss will RIDE WITH YOU AND SEE CAUSE HE SAYS THERE IS NO DEATH WOBBLE...give me a break, NOW I AM LYING??? IT STILL HAS DEATH WOBBLE, MY HATCH DOESNT WORK, THE CAR SMOKES AND SMELLS BAD WHEN DRIVEN....THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.. POINT BEING THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME, CHARGED ME AN AMOUNT OF 1501 BUCKS AND FIXED NOTHING I ASKED FOR...THE ONLY SOLUTION PRIOR TO SUEING THEM IS I WANT ONE HALF MY MONEY BACK..I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THEM TO TRY AND FIX IT I KNOW THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED AND LIED TO ME FROM THE JUMP. 750 BACK TO ME, THEY OWE IT, THEY LIED, THEY DID NOT FIX WHAT I PAYED FOR AND I AM DONE WITH THEM....
