Smartcool is not reliable when it comes to standing behind their work! I had a new unit installed in August. It cools fine, but when I turned on the heat is when my problems started. Called first of November, 2 weeks later the came and said it was fixed, wasn’t it took another 2 weeks to come out. Said it was fixed but wasn’t. Now this is January 9 2024, just had some other company come and repair the unit. I posted back on the 27th of Dec and I still haven’t heard back from them yet. So it’s been 7weeks I’ve been waiting on them and they kept telling me I was on their schedule, what good is that when they never show up.Review from Estella H

I rate this company with one star wish I didn’t have to give that. We bought this unit 3ys ago after a couple of months the heat had to be serviced. When the summer came the unit had to be serviced it needed freon , it wasn’t getting cold. This summer it had to be changed with Freon again I’ve called several times Mrs Gracie stated no one is on the office and she’s a call person for them and she will give them my message. Over two weeks still no calls or servicemen showed up. I’ve left the messages still nothing. I have to run my air on 66 or 77 to stay cool I have explained this last year 2020 and 2022/23.Review from TN S

Honestly, if I had researched this company before hand through customer reviews by Googling “Complaints about Smartcool” etc there is no way I would done any business with these people. The list of none finished work and months and months of wait time is just too much stress to go into especially when these people were paid over $15,000. To not only do AC work, but roofing & exterior painting ?? Do Not Use This Company, especially if u have a business you are starting and they know that you need the work completed in order to open your business… it seems as if they will mess you for the h*** of it??????Review from Jody P

Absolutely the worst customer service.had installed last summer they didn’t put in a new lines.hooked up to old lines which aren’t the proper size which voided the warranty. Wouldn’t come back and make it right.Review from Trish J

We had these guys install our unit 3 years ago and during this winter storm our heat went out! We called them and they were out to our place at 8:00 at night and got us fixed up! Thank you so much for the customer service it’s rare these days!Review from Mark S.

They put a whole new system in my house. I have been out of heat for 2 months now.system is only 5 months old. HORRIBLE customer service. My attorney will be contacted. This is. Apparently their workers are inexperienced AC techsReview from John R

These guys were awesome! They had the best price of anybody we got quotes from and they were extremely helpful with our schedule! Loved the guys that installed my unit!
