    In September of 2022, I contracted with M & J Landscaping to remove the grass in my front yard and back yard, and replace with artificial turf. The job went well and I was pleased with the completed work. Part of the work was to cap off the sprinkler pipes to the original grass areas, which I was told at the end of the job that this had been completed.I had my regular gardening company complete a spring sprinkler tune-up and they found that the line to the control value had been cut, but the sprinkler pipes had not been capped. I also found that there is something growing under the artificial turf in the back yard which needs to be corrected. I have attempted to contact ****, at M & J Landscaping, by text on 2/28, 3/3, & 3/6, with no response. I have also left a voice message on 3/1, again with no response. I have sent an email to M & J landscaping on 3/6, again with no response.

    Contacted M&J Landscaping on 7.11.22 regarding yard maintenance and repair of non-functioning drip system. Met with him on 7.13.22. Agreed to $900.00 for repair of drip system including timer and 1 yard cleanup. At the end of the meeting we agreed to move forward. He requested $450.00 advance. We agreed to Venmo the money. He claimed nothing was received so I processed the $450.00 again. He then advised that he received both payments for a total of $900.00. on 7.24.22 I reached out again because nothing had been done. Advised him that the trees were dying and fruit was all over the ground. 7.25.22 texted again and asked if we were on the schedule. He replied yes we were scheduled for that Wed or Thur. 7.29.22 friend advised me that nothing was done. Sent inquiry text and asked for him to complete the job or refund my $$$. No reply. 7.31.22 asked again about work or $$$. He advised he had been very busy but would stop by. 8.6.22 follow up text. 8.9.22 again asked for work or refund. 8.11.22 another inquiry. 8.15.22 replied will stop by Thur. 8.18.22 follow up text. 8.22.22 follow up text Replied family has covid but will work ****. this is still continuing. 9.14.22 advised him that I had someone else complete the work. He did refund $300.00 on 9.17.22 and another $300.00 on 9.28.22. 11.10.22 advised him that tree died and cost $550.00 to remove. I have continued to request my $$$ but he is just ignoring me. I would like my cost to be covered. I do have my text message chain in my phone. ***** is a Veteran & retired Maricopa County Deputy Sheriff.

    I hired (****'s) M & J Landscaping LLC on 7 NOV 2022 to install our irrigation system (Paid $2000) for this service. He didn't connect irrigation pipeline to the Irrigation Controller box and there is loose water connection near controller. I texted him SEVERAL times with pipe pictures and left voicemails begging him to come and finish the work. He has been avoiding or giving excuses for 1 month now. I finally decided to take help of BBB. I would like him to come and finish the work OR give me refund for remaining work so that I don't get punished by HOA for dry lawn/plants.

    I hired *** Landscape on 14 June 2022 to add pavers to my backyard ($5700). Within days of the install on 3 Aug they started sinking. I texted him SEVERAL times and my husband called and texted (will never respond to my husband) to come and fix the issue. He has yet come to fix the problem and won't respond to me. I have texted him several pictures and the sinking is getting worse in several locations. I have requested he refund my money so that I can hire another contractor to fix the issue.
