On April 16th, I started the application process with **** *****. On April 22nd, I was told that he could underwrite the loan as long as the property at ************************************************************************ appraisal came back satisfactory. We were prompted by email to pay directly $2900 to *********************. We were shocked by the price but paid by credit card as we were assured that we would have a loan in place afterwards. After the property appraised for $550,000, new qualifications were added that needed to be completed before the loan could be underwritten. We kept fulfilling those requirements only to be hit with additional new requirements. We went through this hassle until July 2024 when we finally had to cut our ties with this fraudulent lender and mortgage with a new lender. I was not reimbursed the extravagant $2900 charged for an appraisal. I was also charged for credit reports. I feel that I should be refunded the $2900 as they could not underwrite the mortgage as promised and their fee was unreasonable. I was overcharged for an appraisal.

So, I took the loan from Nexa Mortgage in June to buy house in ******, *******. Loan officer name ************************* was point of contact as other ( ******************************************* were never reachable. ******* had promised that we will be getting $ ******* while closing of the property. As I noticed and question him, why it is not mentioned on the closing documents? ******* said not to worry he will be sending the amount by check. It's been almost close to 2 months, and I have not received the check. I texted *******, but no reply then I emailed and included all his buddies from the Nexa Mortgage, and I received the message saying the Loan needs to get sold to different company then he will get his money and then he can send the check. I saw in 10 days Loan was transferred to different company still not received my check. And no more message from anyone about my check.

At the end of may I was put in touch with *************************. I filled out an application. To which I have gotten 3 pre-approval letters from *******. As well as very deceptive text messages from him through out this process. ******* decided to withhold information regarding the transaction thinking it would stress me out more than i was. We were scheduled to close on a house on july 23rd and on friday the 19th he calls me to tell me that the program we were trying to go through won't work anymore. For reasons im not sure about. He found us another program that he said would work. but when it came down to it there was a typo on my wife's social security number and the lender requested him to repull credit. well our credit has gone down alot because we used our credit cards to get a moving pod for the move. So instead of calling myself or my wife. ******* went a head and called my mother to relay this information too. he also told her that my wife's social security number was incorrect and thats why he had to repull credit. So instead of telling me about the incorrect social back in may after i sent in a copy of her social security card and he caught on to the fact it was inputted wrong he waited til July 29th when we were again supposed to close on the 31st. He was very deceptive with his text messages pretty much saying this is all a go when it wasn't. I have reached out to **** about this but it is my mission to make sure this man can't ever do this type of thing to someone else!!

To sum it all up, terrible experience. I had the pleasure of having ************************* as the representative over my file. His job title is a Branch Manager. I do not know who hired him in this leadership role, but he definitely does not possess the basic fundamentals of a leader to be in a leadership role. He does not take ownership, responsibility, nor accountability for any of his actions or mistakes. He is going to deflect and find every possible way to try and make it your fault as the customer vs. admitting that he messed up and takes ownership. True leaders are going to step up and resolve issues. He did not get my refinancing done in a timely manner even though I was emailing almost weekly to remind him and/or to get an update on my primary residence. This cost me thousands of dollars out of my pocket because of the penalties and fees my current mortgage company was charging me. I also paid for appraisal and reports that didnt get use. **** never got the deal done. Instead he kept deflecting and making excuses to justify his lack of sense of urgency and dropping the ball.

On September 27th ********************* reached out to me and said he'd be the perfect fit to partner on these projects. At 2:56 **** writes:we're cash heavy and short on viable deals.I shared proposed plans, executed offers to purchase, budgets for both. 1-duplex project was located at ********************. A 2-duplex project was located at **********************. I had already obtained pre-approvals for both projects. **** insisted on funding the deals through his company, Nexa Mortgage. On 9/30 at 6:56 **** writes:Hey we're ready to deploy capital Monday AM.Turns out neither **** or ***** had any money to put into these projects! The acquisition for Westerly Hills was $260k, for ********************** it was $115k. I had already put down non-refundable deposits, $5k on Westerly Hills & $75k on Old ****** Creek. **** promised that their money would replace mine and I would receive full deposits back at the closing for each property.Westerly Hills house had a disabled, retired couple who were under contract to buy their dream beach house. They were desperate to close in time.On November 10th ****/***** run out of money and tell me that they do not have the funds available to replace my money.****/***** schedule a meeting with the attorney who formed the partnership docs and insisted on increasing their % ownership in the companies we formed, 1 day prior to closing! This increase in their % ownership would result in me not having any say in any decisions, I declined! The 16th ******************* sent out e-mail reassuring everyone that closing would occur on Friday the 17th. The morning of the 17thChris informs me that they have changed their requirements and we are no longer qualified.****, ************** all colluded against me to destroy these deals. They cost me $100k that I invested over the past 5 months. They repeatedly lied, created delays, then refused to close both properties and left me absolutely no time to try and obtain another loan to salvage either deal.

My complaint is with a loan officer that works for Nexa Mortgage. I was working with ************************* in ********* to refinance my house. I paid $600 to have my house appraised for this process and allowed them to hit my credit for a credit report. We settled on an FHA loan and were working through the paperwork of consolidating the mortgages and get the appraisal done. During this time I had a loan estimate interest rate of ****% (I have documentation of this). **** should have locked this rate in during this time. As we were getting near the end of the process I was given a new loan estimate with an interest rate of ****%. I have asked her about this change and she told me that it was because we changed from conventional to FHA. But the documents both say FHA on them. **** completed forgot to lock the rate in while the process was still going on and now I'm being asked to pay a higher interest rate.
