We would never do business with CDC Pools again & strongly advise others against them. We are new owners to ** from ** & have no experience with a pool. We trusted CDC to re-do our entire pool in the summer of 2021, adding bars for entry into the pool. We returned this November to find the bar had rusted because of being below the water level at all times. We now know this is not normal for bar installation. We have given CDC the opportunity to make this ****** & after numerous attempts to get someone to assist, they advised us they are unable to do anything. So much for spending over $20,000 with a company that doesn't care.

CDC Pools is by the worst pool company I have ever been associated with. The Owners do not return phone calls and the company staff have not completed the job after many requests to do so. I had a renovated pool and they not only put the wrong color of pebble sheen in my pool but sprayed pebble sheen all over my newly laid limestone tiles that cost me a fortune. They have told me over and over that they would come and power wash it as well as the black rocks around the pool. I have pictures of them installing the pebble sheen without any type of tarp or plastic covering. Repeated requests goes unanswered and I have filed a complaint with the ********************************. I owe them approx $5000 and have told them that I will not pay them the remaining bill until they complete the clean up.

Over a year ago we had CDC Pools remodel our aging pool. Our project manager was terrible and apparently, unbeknownst to us, they fired her. The pool was completed in Oct 2021 but there was never a final walk through or follow up. We had many problems with the work done and emailed CDC often. They would always send someone out but nothing was done after this.We are still in the phase of getting them to complete promised warranty work and promises are made but never followed up on. Our chief complaint is the lack of communication and notification of pending work. We have been waiting 10 months for warranty work to be completed and it is still a mess. The water feature has never worked properly and is an ugly mess and the water feature manager is abrasive, rude, and allows shoddy work. We have sent pictures, had him out 5x, and it's gotten to the point where CDC seems to have washed their hands of our pool yet it will sits in a state of disrepair.

I need to give you a little about my background. I have spent over 35 years in leadership roles in both residential commercial construction world (Mid to Large General Contractors as well as Sub Contractors). The last 5 years I have worked as a Director at ***************************** in ********, ** which is one of largest mechanical contractors in *******. We are a $100M per year firm. I fully understand how a construction project should be run and best practices in this discipline. My wife, ****** and I contracted with CDC Pools to do a complete pool renovation in November of 2021 with their sales representative, ***********************. Total cost of pool renovation was over $18,000 and they required that we pay in advance of them completing contracted work. The pool renovation started the first week of January 2022. We were told it would be a 6 - 8 week process. The renovation was to include: 1) Draining of pool 2) Demolition of existing *********** surface in pool; we select more expensive color and additives which added a Change Order 3) Installation of tile in hot tub and pool; we selected a more expensive tile which added a Change Order 4) Installation of new *********** surface in pool and reinstall pop *** and drains 5) Demolition of existing Cool Decking around pool 6) New Cool Decking surface installed and painted around pool 7) Clean up After demolition we noticed that the steps in pool and hot tub had been comprimised and we were concerned that they were destroyed. I brought it up to sales **** *************************** attention and he told me I would need to pay an addition $580. When I pushed back that they should be backchargipg their demolition sub they still wanted me to pay the $580. After more discussion they told me I wouldn't need to pay this and they would be able to fix stairs with *********** install. There are many problems that have not been resolved revolving around poor workmanship and sloppy execution.

We are reviewing our notes and it appears our technicians were out on May 3rd to address punch list items that the clients wanted fixed. They replaced 2 lights and ******, our supervisor, was able to clean all tile. That was everything the client had complaints about and it appears we addressed both issues. Not sure what other issues client may have. We do not have any new information.

Their was also the cleaning of the water fall which was done and all we should have left is to fill in some small cracks in the ************* around the spillway from the spa to pool.
