.I was referred to this company by ****** Awning Company. Starting in October 2022 I called them to repair my awning. After two months two of the companys repairmen, ****** and ***** suddenly arrived at my site on November 23rd and tried to replace the motor in my awning. They told me that they could not access the mounting bolts to do the repair, but would refer it to the Owner. *******************************, with ****** and *****, arrived at my site late on the afternoon of December 6. They found and loosened all the awning mounting bolts inside my motorhome then went outside to work on removing the motor. There was great deal of noise and shaking of the motorhome. They came inside and handed me a piece they had cut from the end of my awning housing! ******* said that the awning was glued to the motor home and that they hadnt been able to remove and replace the motor. He said that he could disassemble all the internal awning components, then attempt to remove the awning housing from the motorhome to replace the motor, but it would probably deform it and it would likely never work correctly. ******* then proposed I file a false claim that it had been wind damaged and my insurance would have it completely replaced. He said this was what insurance was for and perfectly normal and he would work with the adjuster and take care of everything. He said he had done this before and knew all the insurance adjusters. The RV Awning company cut off the end without my permission and broke the seal on the top instead of repairing it. Now it is exposed and when it rains the water pours out of the housing directly onto the top of my door seal. Now ******************************* proposes that I pay his company to try to repair the awning for $2200, which he believes will not work, or proceed with a complete removal and replacement for $18,200. I am not going to do either. I am looking for other alternatives. I will not allow them to do anything more to my motorhome. I DO NOT recommend this company.
