I purchased a rebuilt 2005 5.9 Cummins engine for 5000 dollars. I drove a total of 12 hours to pick up and drop off my core. After coming home got the engine installed and drove a total of 60 miles the very next day and it proceeded to blow up. During that time he called and said the core I delivered was no good after explaining this engine was already dead and I would be driving back to drop it off to get fixed we agreed to wave the core. Now its been 2 years to the day and I have no engine back. Hes gotten none responsive or just states to call the engine builder who I didnt do the business with. Ive requested money back knowing that I will have to fork another 1600 at minimum in a core charge to another company since I now have no engine I have nothing. At this point any help would be greatly appreciated even if he gave me money minus the core fee. I need this truck for work around my farm Ive already purchase another from a dealer and I need some resolve

Purchased a differential for a **** ***** Silverado that had a purchase price of $1500 and shipping fee from ***** to ******* $495. It was suppose to be refurbished. The shipment was 3 days beyond the quoted date of receipt and one picked up and taken to property mechanic states it was not refurbished because it had dirt and debris inside the housing. There was also cracks and chips in the rotor. Contacted business about returning differential as per the 90 day warranty. Upon delivering the product back to company they did not refund the shipping fee of $495. Contact signed did not state delivery was non refundable. Even tried to split the difference of shipping and the refused. Even though company stated they would order a different differential did not want to do business with them again. They did state after return that they ordered a pull off instead a refurbished quoted over the phone. Requesting the immediate return of shipping fee they withheld and was not discussed or stated on invoice. Had to cash the check for partial refund as we are still without a vehicle and needed the cash.

The company order a engine and transmission from Midwest and it was sent to there mechanic the only problem they said they  was a transmission they ordered for a dodge transmission which they did a charge back on Midwest we tried to contact them several times by email and phone calls they never returned the transmission and Midwest is out of the money so The engine not being shipped to them is new news to me.  The Woman making the complaint has no clue what she is even talking about because she just started working at the land scaping company I tried to tell her about the situation but all she did was yell.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the transmission. We have asked Midwest for tracking information for the engine which they have refused to provide. We paid for an engine that we never received. We have called Midwest over an over again with absolutely no resolution offered. We have asked for a refund and have been refused. Midwest was paid of $5,000 for an engine that was never received. I know exactly what I am talking about. Clearly Midwest has no clue what they are talking about. The owner of the company has used derogator language with us and has refused to provide any type of resolution. An engine was purchased and was never sent to us. They received payment and we received nothing. We want a refund for the engine that was purchased and never sent to us. We have asked time and time again for them to provide proof that they sent us the engine and they have refused.

My mother and I ordered a transmission and transfer case for my pickup from this company. The transmission was ordered on 07/22/2022 and the transfer case ordered on 07/25/2022. Since the transmission was not yet done being rebuilt we were able to get both items shipped together. Which was great We were charged core charges in the amount of $1000.00 for these two items which was not a problem since I no longer needed them due to the fact that they were both broken. Our agreement was when I got the new rebuilt items I would ship my broken parts back and our core charges totaling $1000.00 would be refunded. My items were shipped on 08/03/2022 from *******, *******. I did not receive my items until 08/25/2022. Pro tracking # **********. Three weeks late because they were misplaced and shipped to ********************************************** miles in the wrong direction. After receiving the items finally, late, it took us a week to get a Bill of Lading from Midwest Transmissions so that we could send the broken transmission and transfer case and get our core charges in the amount of $1000.00 back. Now, ************************* the owner of Midwest Transmission's is refusing to give us all of our core charges back. Stating that the transfer case shell is cracked/broke. Well that was the reason I had to order a new one is because the old one was broke and no longer worked. That is the risk and the business he is in, fixing broken stuff. A shell for a transfer case would cost him less than $200.00. No where on there website does it say that if anything is cracked or broke that they will not give you the core charges back. There website states that when the broken items are returned to them that core charges will be refunded which ************************* is refusing to do and being very rude about it as well. ************************* owes my mother and I $1000.00. We shipped the broken items as requested & per agreement. The items were shipped on 09/07/2022 and delivered to him on 09/09/2022 BOL tracking # ***********.

The transfer case has a whole in case I sent the customer pictures.   The transfer case has ran out of fluid and can not be rebuilt.  I need the cores to rebuild for other customers so if i get sent a bad core i have to buy a core to keep my business going.

I do not accept ***** response. The date I filed the complaint **** called my mother mad telling her that she contact me & demand that I retract my complaint. He was rude to my mother and continued to yell at her on the phone until she finally had to hang up on him. He was so rude to my mother, my step father over heard & was not happy or impressed with how this business owner was treating and talking to my her. I am very upset and disgusted with how he treated her. No where on Midwest Transmissions website does it say that the transfer case core has to come back in perfect condition. And not one time in all of our dealings with **** did he once state that the transfer case had to be in perfect condition. Ive attached a pic of the website core description. Weve had nothing but trouble with this company since the day my items shipped, took a month to get to me. Yet we ship the old broken stuff back & it is back to him in 2 days.  he has taken his sweet time doing anything except for when hes mad and wants to disrespect my mother he is very quick about that. He is in the business of fixing broken stuff so he gets the broken stuff how it is. If he wants his broken stuff a certain way than he should disclose that on his website & to his customers. But again nothing is on the website & nothing was said to my mother or myself. I cant control how the transfer case was when I bought it. It is an older truck & thats the way it is. But since ***** company chose not to disclose to us or on his website that he wouldnt take a transfer case with a hole (like he says) or crack in the shell we expect our core charges of $1000.00 back in full ASAP & my mother is still owed a apology. I would also appreciate if he would stop calling her & yelling at her demanding things. It is very unprofessional

I sent the customer a picture of the hole in the case of  the transfer case lost all fluid and was burnt up the core is not rebuild able and case was damaged.  I told the customer this information stating there will be no core refund.

In response to ****, first we have never gotten pictures of the transfer case, not to my email or my mother's email. Second, we were never told that the core was burnt up. The only thing we were advised was about the crack or hole. We've heard nothing else. Again, he is in the business of fixing broken stuff so it was never told to us that we would not get our core refund if the transfer case was not in a particular condition. Return broken stuff, get your core refund that is what we were told. **** has also not refunded our $650.00 for the transmission. To this date we have not received anything. I have given this man & his company a chance to do the right thing and be a good businessman and he continues to come up with excuses that no one has heard about until here. I have given him more than enough time to do the right thing & he still hasn't plus he has not refunded money from the transmission. I have held off on writing my reviews about him & his company because I was hoping we would be able to resolve this. If he does not want to resolve this here than I will submit my reviews and take the next steps. He owes us $650.00 for the transmission core & $350.00 for the transfer case core. I await his response & honestly would like to know why he has kept & refused our refunds.
