    I just received a news letter stating that Credit Union West was proud to discriminate on the basis of race and gender, stating the key priority for *** is investing in opportunities that fuels their (meaning anyone other than white males) success and drive economic growth by providing the essential tools and resources they need to thrive. It went on to say CUW was thrilled to launch ************ thats specifically designed to empower minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses. This is deeply concerning to me as a white male that didnt have the opportunity to serve our country in the military due to some physical limitations that were outside my control. Im not sure why your organization is intentionally creating products and services that exclude people on the basis of race and gender and it makes me very uncomfortable having accepted a loan product of yours. Had I known your organization was not dedicated to empower people like me, I would have choose someone else.I am extremely disappointed in Credit Union West after receiving an email from their President and CEO ***** **** that openly prioritized the economic success of a specific race and gender(women and minorities) while completely ignoring everyone else. As a member, I expect fairness and equal opportunity for everyone. Instead, this credit union appears to be making decisions based on race and gender, which is not only unethical but also potentially illegal under federal anti-discrimination laws like the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights ************* institutions should serve all members equally, not pick and choose who deserves their support based on identity. If youre considering banking with Credit Union West as a straight white male, be aware that they may not have your best interests in mind unless you fit their preferred demographic. Discrimination in any form is unacceptable, and I urge leadership to correct this and commit to serving everyone.

    This bank DOES NOT value its member's privacy, time, or money. I have had my account locked and debit cards cancelled several times upon trying to make online or mobile purchases. I receive every alert regarding my account except for the fraud alerts, which the bank says they send but never come through. I went as far as changing my phone number to hopefully escape this issue, but it persists. Credit Union West does not have a single reason as to why I only don't receive the fraud alerts, they also do not seem to care. All they can say is "sorry" and "try again later", worst customer service experience I have ever had. For your own safety, choose any other credit union.

    unable to log on this morning. Had tp "validate" my info with a 6 digit number sent ot my email of record . I was unable to do this so I went to the *************** office special to fix. After setting down and showing ID the clerk said I was OK. I came home and nothing had changed. I tried to call and was told a 5 minute wait and selected "call me back". It was ***** minutes and nothing.I will have a check or two bouncing Monday if I can't transfer funds. Apparently they don't care.

    Extremely horrible customer service especially in the ********, ** branch. Teller contradicted EVERYTHING I said. Got exactly nowhere. Asked for appointment with branch manager, he didn't call and didn't care. Pound sand.

    Apparently they are still learning how to use a calculator.Awful experience in obtaining a home equity loan for a pool project. Did not meet the *** requirements by 9%. Subsequently received a 13% salary increase and was still denied because the new loan amount had to be included in the *** calculation. Well if that was the case, the original *** calculation was performed incorrectly to begin with! This poor guidance and lack of competency resulted in over a month of construction delays.

    Just opened two accounts and will close both. This has been the worst financial institution process im my 70+ years, enen worse than 1AZ..1- Rude staff, upon first [required] visit to open the accounts. Walked out.2- Ignorant clerk at a different branch was barely capable of following the screen's directions.]3- Unable to get basic information, like account numbers and member number w/o going to branch; call to their central number was a waste of time.I want a bank that supports and aets the people they SERVE, not citing excuse afrter excuse of why they CANNOT,Their actions prove a lack or respect for and support of members, currenet and prospective.

    My car payment is paid ahead my 1 year. I still throw payments to it randomly because, well I don't like owing debt. I paid $500 just the other day on 5.13.2023. So today 3-24-2023 i get a letter dated 3-20-2023 stating that, they will be moving my next bill to be due 4-3-2023. So they want me to pay another payment in 10 days, even though not only am i paid ahead by a year, but i just send another payment twice as much as my standard due payment. for so many people in this economy, this would be a CRUSHING notification. You should be ashamed,

    I've banked with Credit Union West for almost 8 years now. Today i went to an ATM at a different bank. Which they charged me a fee, already knew that was coming. Then i saw Credit Union West also charged me a fee. I called and asked about it. They charged me a 2$ fee because I didn't use there ATM. I will no longer be banking with them.

    Terrible card system. Accidentally locked my card by using the wrong pin too many times, which I take accountability for. When trying to resolve this, no one could help me when I called in, saying my card was marked as stolen, transferred me to the fraud department, and the automated system said they could not find a fraud case and gave me no option to talk to someone. All this after waiting for 30 minutes on hold twice. Huge waste of time. I'll be closing my account as soon as I get my debit card from my new bank.

    This bank is horrible. I signed up for a checking account a few months ago. I still have yet to receive any sort of welcome letter from the bank containing my banking information and debit card. I continue to ask for assistance on this matter and I keep getting told the info is on its way and will be there in no more than 72 hours. So finally I get fed up and asked to close my savings and checking account. These low life's have the audacity to try and charge me to close my account, even though I'm choosing not to do business due to their horrible customer service. I'm glad I did not switch both of my direct deposits and SSI check to this bank. Had I done so I wouldn't have any access to my money and could not pay my bill. Please heed my warnings this bank will put you in a very horrible position. I know now why this bank has a two star rating. This is a bottom feeder. They will do something incorrectly on purpose to collect fees from you. Credit unions are suppose to be better than the big banks, but this bank is even more crooked, deceptive and unscrupulous than they are. Save yourself the headaches. All of the other reviews back up my claim. Steer clear
