On 1/24/22 **** came to review a wrought iron fencing and gate project. Hes going to email estimate. He said small job, knock it out on a weekend.2/1/22 Didnt get estimate so my husband called ****, **** had wrong email address. We gave him the correct email address & we agreed to job estimate. **** said he was sick & going to the doctor, he did have bad cough on the phone.2/9/22 We hadnt heard from **** or Capitol Fence. So we called Capitol Fence and asked how **** was? They transferred us to **** who proceeded to yell at my husband: I have Covid, Im sick in bed, Im with a client, ***** didnt do schedule, Give me a break! We told him the homeless were stealing us blind. It is unsafe being wide open to the high volume of crime and theft. We also told him if he couldnt do the job soon wed have to call another fence company. He got very angry again and told us several times that he didnt care, that we should go ahead and get another fence company. He then hung up, then called back twice to say there is a 50/50 chance they could start the job on 2/17/22, but more than likely definitely be here to start on 2/18/22 and everything would be finished on 2/20/22, and hes coming tomorrow to pick up a $3,000 deposit check. We acted foolishly and trusted him one more time.2/10/22 **** came and picked up a $3,000.00 deposit check. He stated he was going to call Blue Stake the following Monday or Tuesday. We never heard from **** or Capitol Fence again. In the last 13 months we gave **** and Capitol Fence $17,945. Always in cash/check made out to ***************************. We were always very satisfied with their work and concern for our safety. At this point we just want our $3,000.00 back and no further contact with **** or Capitol Fence by phone or in person due to ****s violent temper and anger issues. We have lost all trust and faith in **** and Capitol Fence, this is no way to treat any customer.Quote # *****
