My mothers house flooded and our insurance company hired this company, we had just buried my father and it was already an awful time for us! So when my parent's house was flooded needing to be completely gutted my mother was devastated. Our insurance company hired the contractors to come in and fix her home well at no fault to anyone the flooring had asbestos, so of course it had to be quarantined and taken with great care. After that project was complete. It had nothing to do with Titan, Titan came up to take a look at the house. The first conversation that I had was that they would look at the house, but were unsure if they would be taking on such a project but they would come and look and see if it was something they would be interested in doing. Living in the city I understood it may be a drive but the project should be done in a few weeks the longest a month so I thought until 8 months later still nothing had been done. There had been a few floods in the area the same problem as my mother but people used DIFFERENT contractors their homes were done in a few weeks. Well, they said it was our adjuster that was the problem at first then it was our insurance lady then finally myself that they had tried to come to work but no one was there to let them in, which I found funny because our insurance lady had let them in the ONE day I couldn't make it. Mind you I do work for a living and do hospice care so my job is extremely difficult to navigate what will happen one day to the next. But never the less someone meaning ***************** who by the way is down the block could have let them in. Let me say first of all there were several times when I was told as well as ***************** that they would be coming down to start work AFTER they went and looked at it 2 or 3 times I'd drive down. The 100 or so miles for no one to be there. Finally, 8 months later they sent my adjuster an email saying the job wouldn't be completed honestly at this point we couldn't be happier.Titan Restoration of AZ Response

Dear *******,First and foremost, please accept our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your father. We understand that this has been an incredibly difficult time for you, and we deeply regret that our services did not meet your expectations during such a sensitive period.Upon reviewing the details of your case, it's clear that our team made numerous attempts to initiate the required work at times that were prearranged with you. Unfortunately, these efforts were hindered by repeated challenges in gaining access to the property, despite our best attempts to coordinate with you. We encountered instances where no one was available to provide access to the site, leading to five occasions where our team was unable to proceed as planned.During our last visit, we observed certain conditions and behaviors on the premises that raised concerns for the safety and well-being of our staff, prompting us to reassess our involvement with the project. Although we took measures to facilitate access by placing a lock box at the site, we found it tampered with and the key missing during subsequent visits. We want to express our sincerest apologies for not being able to fulfill the job to completion, despite our persistent efforts over several months. Our priority is always to provide reliable and respectful service, especially in times of grief and loss.If there is any additional information or assistance we can provide to help address your concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. We are here to support you and offer any clarification needed.Once again, we extend our sympathies for your loss and apologize for any added stress during this challenging time.Warm regards,*****************************Review from Brad S

We had a leak coming from our master bathroom which was identified by Titan Restorations team. Insurance was involved and together they were able to do the demo they needed to replace the shower pan (a shoddy job by a rushed house flipper, I suspect). They managed the process and left the master bathroom looking better than when we bought it.Titan Restoration of AZ Response

We are an elementary school on a tight budget and needed a small job to make our bathroom floor safe for students this summer. We researched Titan and selected them due to their experience with restoration, BBB standing, and their stated commitment to finish our job before students would be on campus in August. Without our permission or any discussion, they outsourced our job to a 3rd party with no license or ********************** experience, and changed the fundamental piece of the job - the joist - leaving the old joist under the new construction. The crew they sent to our campus made female employees uncomfortable and were incredibly unprofessional filling one of only two school dumpsters with their demolition trash that was part of our agreement to be removed/hauled away. Ultimately, we will have to redo this $7,000 job since they did not fix the floor stability issue and also left a ledge under the tile that is not safe for **** They also did not start or finish on the agreed upon timeline and we had to operate school without one of our restrooms working on the first day of school. The owner was not concerned about the poor quality and our experience, only the invoice. I definitely would not recommend!Titan Restoration of AZ Response

Good afternoon. *************** to the formal complaint filed by ************************. We were contacted by the school to provide an estimate for water damage that occurred in one of their modular trailers 2 years ago. The water damage caused the tile floor to pop up and subfloor to warp. We provided an estimate to remove and replace subfloor, cement board, joist, and tile in a small portion of the bathroom. This estimate was approved, and a Work Authorization was signed by the School on July 28, 2021. Titan Restoration has completed all items on scope except for the joist replacement. When the floor was removed, we determined that the metal joist was not affected by the water damage. We originally thought the floor joist was wood, but in reality it was metal and was not affected by the water damage. This line item was credited back to the school. We feel our work was performed in a workmanlike manner and after inspection, the Arizona ROC agrees that there isn't any workmanship issues. I have visited the site and shuffled my feet across the floor and found no significant lippage. I have also put a straight edge on tile and found no significant wavy tile as stated in the complaint.Review from Travis H

We had a leak in our garage. Called insurance for a claim. The guy stated he did not know the cause of the leak. He gave an estimate of 2k to fix the drywall. That seems idiotic to repair the drywall without solving the leak, as it would just reoccur. There was no active leak or water in the garage, so we sought a second opinion. We found Titan Restoration. Had a lengthy conversation with the office to find the reason for the leak and needed more information before moving forward with any service. They sent out someone. My husband asked why fans? And asked if they really work and the guy jokingly replied, not really. A few days later they send an estimate. Surcharged as an emergency. Then, an extra 700 for the fans that supposedly did nothing. Plus, extra 160 to rip up the rest of the dry wall. No word on how they planned to proceed, fix the leak, or estimate of cost. We denied the removal of drywall because still no info on process forward and we were being charged unknowingly. We did not agree to move forward until so. With no follow up call, we had to reach out again to Titan inquiring about working with a roofing company for an estimate and working with our insurance. A month goes by and no response. Suddenly, we are told to pay the bill that was not agreed upon. We call Titan and they brush it off again. Then, no communication again. Another month and we get an email saying to pay. We complain about lack of communication and that we still have a leak from an unknown source, possibly the roof. *********************, replies about a verbal agreement - complete lie - as we reiterated the whole reason we went with this company was the find the reason for the leak and solve it, thus we never agreed to move forward with drywall services. He states we have to fix roof on our own and insurance won't help. We called our insurance and they state they have not received anything Titan. Nothing is different in the garage from months ago but we are being charged over ****.Titan Restoration of AZ Response

Titan Restoration responded to your home on 10/13 and initially set equipment as is standard protocol to start the drying process. The fans do work and speed up the evaporation process. Titan had employees there every day to monitor the drying progress. This wasn't a typical water loss with a broken pipe. On 10/18 we had employees onsite doing a water test to determine where the water was coming from. It is coming from an area on the balcony that had some deferred maintenance. After the water test, it was wet again, so we continued drying while trying to obtain approvals for demo. On 10/21 the insurance adjuster, ****, approved us to demo the wet drywall areas. We called to schedule the demo with ************ on 10/24. When we arrived, he forgot we were coming and sent our guys away. 10/25 ************ turned all our equipment off. It was still wet. we confirmed an appointment for 10/28 to demo. On 10/28 when we arrived at **************** home to demo, he asked us to remove our equipment and sent us away. He had fans and dehumidifiers at his home from 10/13 to 10/28. We billed his insurance company for the work we did do. We discounted our daily equipment rental from 15 days down to 3 days and submitted the invoice to the insurance company. We were never hired to fix the roof or do any repairs, just to determine where the water was coming from and to dry it out.
