My Mom died Dec 14, ****, she died of cancer and did not deal with death, she told me to do what i wished on burial, just have **** cremated, She was Catholic but didnt attend church for many years, she lived with us in Oregon and we returned to AZ just a few months then she passed. We had a service, .the Lady helping us with all the plans was ******* at queen of heaven , she left not long after . I've called 2 times in the last 2 years and met nothing but resistance from not friendley people. I want to remove my moms ashes and bring her home with us, they didnt do that so much as they do now, we also are planning to move to Wisconsin in the next few months. No one is left here . They say that I have to get a notarized letter from my brother and sister to do that , and it seems they just make it up. As my brother said they didnt need his permission or proof she wanted to be there. I've looked at the Cemetary Guidelines and really cannot find anything saying I need to do this, and I was executor of her estate , My mom had always stayed with us except from **** to **** . But lived next door when she remarried. My brother is in Ohio in public housing, my sister is in Oregon and is happy for me to take my mom home. I paid for the urn and niche at burial, there is a opening fee I believe 250, and if they want to purchase the niche back thats fine, but it really just feels like harrassment. They dont care about my mom she was just another fee in the bank for her. I know my mom would be thrilled to come home and be with us.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Our family service department was able to speak to the family and discuss their options and assist them with a resolution. When our counselor, ******* explained our guidelines and the legal and ethical reasoning behind them, she also discussed waiving our fees once we received the necessary paperwork. It is our sincere desire to bring this family and all of the families we serve comfort and satisfaction.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
