    What a terrible company. There were so many problems right from the beginning, from misinformation to out right lies. I received a call from a manager apologizing about all the issues and promised me the moon to make me happy. Now we have had our swim spa for 6 months with a cover that is to big and the manager wont even return my calls anymore. The worst customer service I have ever seen, and for something that cost as much as a car! I would not recommend this company.

    This company is a joke they have a person in office by the name of ******** whom gives false info on warranty. This person when I asked at time of purchase if certain parts were warrantied she stated they were and when I asked to speak to her concerning a warranty she got an attitude and tried to blame a tech that was sent out. This person ******** was very unprofessional and needs to learn how to deal with the public because she sure is giving the company a bad reputation with her bad attitude! They sent out tech his name was ** he came to work on my hot tub and while servicing my tub he had a outburst of curse words because he was having issues with fixing the tub he left my home said he will be back and I didn't hear from Sunset spas for 2 days and again dealt with ******** who was very aggressive on the phone I will never use this company again and would not refer to this company! Service and customer service is awful!

    I purchased my spa 11 months ago and was told that the side panels were warrantied for a year after purchase. We had a tech come out to replace the panels and he brought the wrong ones. Then another tech came out with only one panel but he did not bring a saw, so he replaced the one panel that had the least amount of warping. The panel closest to the wires is the one with the major warping which has caused a gap over 2 inches wide. We are worried that rodents will go inside and chew up the wires. Now all of a sudden, I am being told that there will be a $200 installation charge per panel if they send their tech back out. I first reached out back in November to get this rectified and they are just now sending people out, but each tech came unprepared and without the right equipment to do the job. Furthermore, we had an old crusty spa cover for the 1st eleven months due to the fact that the original one was damaged in transit. The cover was only just replaced recently and with a very cheap cover - not the original manufacturer cover that we should have received. The email from ********* promising that the panels were covered for a year is below ************** Nov 20, 2023, 9:10AM to me Good Morning , Would you be able to send us pictures of the panels and of the surroundings of the spa please. Panels are under warranty for a year, we will be able to submit a claim. And if you dont mind sending over a picture of the damaged cover as well, so we can get this all figured out for you.     Great sells people. Great warranty. If you use there chemicals, and there test strips. After 3 months a bracket started rusting. So I reached out. I was blamed for the chemicals not being right. I check my spa everyday. I chemical as instructed buy the instructions and the delivery guy. They won't send any one out to replace the bracket under there own warranty. It cost to much to send someone out. They want me to fix it. So I told them I charge 75 dollars for warranty work. I still get blamed for using there chemicals and test trips for 3 months. They won't refund me for the tub or at least the chemicals. I have no choice but to change chemicals and void my warranty. I don't trust them. And I can't get a refund. I'm out if something else goes wrong it's out of pocket now. They could have said let's see what's going on. I'll send a tech out to look why this is happening, that doesn't look right. Ok if you are testing with and using our products this should not happen. Just no care in the world for a customer. Nope it's all the customers fault.

    Hi *****, Sorry to let you know but it is your water chemistry. I know you check your spa everyday and three times on Sunday for you water chemistry. These units are made ****** pieces at a time so if it was bad they all would be bad. Also there are 3 chemical manufacturers in ***************** so they are all basically the same thing. Using a different chemical will not void your warranty Also you said you charge $75.00 per hour I would offer you a job as a service rep for $25 per hour if you are interested. We are always here if you need help being educated in water chemistry. Also there is this a relatively new site call ******* that you can learn almost anything on. Thank you

    I thought buying a locally manufactured Hot Tub was a good thing...which I was wrong. The control board completely failed 7 months after installation. The tech came out and replaced the board in less than 5 minutes. I was then sent a bill for $120. I was never told that this charge would be added and the tech didn't even leave a paper receipt. This company doesn't stand behind there spas even if the salesman tells you directly they are covered for 18 months. Poor quality, very poor warranty/service agreement, and horrible customer service. I'll certainly never buy from Sunset Spas again.....************(********)

    Hi ****, things unfortunately happen with any of the hot tub brands. The $120.00 was for a trip charge first 30 days this is included and we cover. whether the tech would have taken 2 hours or 5 min you are really paying for travel time. If you have ever had any major appliance serviced under warranty it is very similar. Apologize about feeling mislead is not our intentions.

    We bought a Spa in December of 2022 at the ****** ************ location and have had issues from the start. When you contact someone for help with service they don't return your call or email. Terrible service, we never would have made this purchase knowing follow-up service was so bad.

    Hi *******, problems happen with any ******** sure all your issues have been resolved. You have to think these are a box of electronics and plumbing that get shaken, flipped up and down on the delivery process. 90% of issues happen right away.  Service was going thru some shake *** back then and to reassure you the processes put in place of our growing business have come a long way.
