DECEPTION & LIES - I found a 2019 Acura RDX listed on Autotrader for $20,995. I contacted the dealership, made an appointment and drove 45 minutes to their location. I liked the car and the salesperson. HOWEVER....they refused to sell it to me for the advertised price. They INSISTED that I pay an additional $2,500 for something called Zaktek. My research indicates that this is spray on wax amounting to a BULL P*** dealer add on to wring more profit from it's customers and that other places only charge $500 for it. I told the manager at Acura Peoria I didn't want ****** and was not interested in paying for it. They would not sell me the car at the advertised price.

The zaks that was clearly listed online and on our worksheet was not the issue why we could not do the deal with this client. We removed them and came to an agreement. However, we couldn't do business because, we could not secure financing with this client at month end and we couldn't wait 10 days for the client to get us the funds from his own credit union. We offered our own financing and he declined. Another buyer came in same day and bought the vehicle cash. Thank you.

I negotiated with the sales manager to purchase a new Integra. When I arrived at the dealership, the price was not honored, extra items were added, and the value of the trade had decreased. The general manager had canceled the agreed-upon terms. I left the dealership and found the car for $6,000 less than Acura of Peoria wanted to charge. Needless to say, their word does not count for anything. Customers should avoid dealing with this dealership. I would have rated the dealership lower if possible.

Regarding this deal.  The deals was worked month before the car got to the dealership.  We have notified the client many times that his trade in was subject to reappraisal due to volatility of used car market.  When our dealership got to see the trade, the market value has dropped and the vehicle was not up to our standards and it had damage mirror that was backordered and not resalable for months.  It's unfortunate that we couldn't agree on a deal.

Brought my 2017 Acura RDX in with a brake issue. I explained that I had replaced the rotors on the car twice and that was not the reason the brakes shook the wheel when braking. $****** later they came back that the 2 day old rotors were warped and wanted to do a complete brake job for $1500.00. Drove away upset and started reviewing the issue myself. Replaced the calipers and found that the left one was not functioning properly and replaced the front calipers and the problem went away. Got a call from ******* and wanted to know how my service experience was and repeated the story and asked for my ****** back as their diagnosis was incorrect. NO call. Three days later I called and asked ******* what the status of my request for a refund. Had to go through the story again. No response. At that point I gave up. DO NOT BUY A CAR OR GO FOR SERVICE TO ACURA OF PEORIA.

This review would have been Zero stars if that was possible. I have been lucky in my time to buy cars from honest salesmen in well established dealerships. But then comes along my experience with Acura of Peoria and the manager ********************* completely broke the trust I had in them. After I bought the Lexus 2015 RX350 -Arriving home, I could not lock the car. The central locking would not lock all doors. After a few days of unsuccessful attempts, I took the car to ***** who did a checkup. They found a faulty door actuator (repair $1105), control arm bushings torn (repair $1,984).Lexus called the Extended warranty and they refused to cover it and ***** advised me to take the car back to Acura of Peoria to rectify since the car was less than a week old.I called the dealership several times to speak to the manager, ********************* and was always told He will call you back. A couple of days later with no response from him, I took the car back. Unsurprisingly they refused to do anything other than offer $450 towards the repair. The car is a used car and its not prefect! I am aware of this! However, I expected a dealership that refers to themselves as a Dealership of Distinction to sell me a car that has doors that lock! Afterall, I paid more than 20K for the car!For them to refuse to pay for the full price for the door actuator is shocking and very disappointing.I was told by the manager that the car runs and that is all they are concerned of and that was that. Suffice to say, I will not be recommending them to anyone.

Words can't describe the issues I have had with the collision center that is owned by Acura of Peoria. I have tried desperately to get a receipt of monies paid to an insurance company that paid them on behalf of my damaged vehicle. *****, collision center, hung up on my husband and refused to send over the invoice. I called the dealership, spoke with ***************************, and he promised to help. I asked for the supervisor for *****, we all have bosses, and ***** has yet to call me back. I have left several messages. All I want is the invoice and reading between the lines, they are refusing. Sounds like they are up to no good. Please don't purchase a vehicle from the dealership and AVOID the collision center. Send the invoice and I will go away. No one EVER calls back, EVER. Reading reviews below, I am not the only one that's had issues.

I was willing to pay full price for a pre-owned car listed online, but the dealership REFUSED to sell me the car for the advertised price. The only way they would sell would be if I paid an additional $1495 "reconditioning fee" as well as a $349 "ZakTek protection fee", both of which are bogus add-on fees and were not part of the advertised price. As we found out with **********, this is FALSE ADVERTISING and I will be submitting a complaint to the ** Attorney General immediately.
