Cool Blew was hired by my warranty company Fidelity National Home Warranty to replace the air handler and adapter and to fix the freon leaking from my existing HVAC system. This work was performed on 6/1/2023 and I had air conditioning for 4 hours. They came 06/02/2023 which was a new claim because the motor was not working correctly. I have no air conditioning until new blades can be ordered. Cool Blew installs a new motor and blades on 6/20/2023. On 07/14/2023 at 4:00 in the morning water is dripping through my ceiling and air ducts in my guest bathroom. I put in a call to the home warranty and Cool Blew comes out and states they have fixed the problem by straightening the bent walls of the drainage pan and supporting the pan to the attic rafters. 07/15/2023 Water drips from a different part of the ceiling and down the bathroom walls. I open a new call and Cool Blew says they will be out on 07/17/23 to fix the problem. My nephew comes over and finds that the nut that seals the handler to the drainage pan has never been tightened. He tightens the nut and the water leakage quits. Water is still only draining from the secondary drainage pipe outside. The primary drainage is dry. Cool Blew comes out on 07/17/23 and gets the water to drip out of the primary drainage instead of the secondary drainage pipe. Cool Blew says my warranty company would need to cover my damages and my warranty company Fidelity National Home Warranty states they do not cover secondary damage. I am out ******* for a system that was not put in correctly and which has caused damage to my bathroom which has cost me $1,126.70 to fix.Business response

I signed a contract with Cool Blew on June 2nd to install a new a/c unit and Honeywell thermostat in a condo that I own with a tenant living in. I bought a new unit because they said it would take a minimum of 2 weeks to get the leaking coil part to fix the problem but that he could have a new a/c unit installed in 4 days. After numerous calls they Finally installed the unit on June 12th. It started leaking fluid through the filter the next day so someone came out on the 15th. On the 19th it was still leaking (1/2 bucket of fluid) they came out on the 22nd and said that he had to clean out the drain. On the 26th it was still leaking and when I called in, ******* promised that she would have a manager come out on the 29th - well 2 young kids came out, argued about how to fix it, and used a bunch of my tenants newly laundered bath towels to clean up their mess. The next day the bathroom was flooded and it was because they hooked the a/c drain under the sink and it didnt work. There were toiletries, makeup, etc that were all ruined by the flooding. Oh and STILL NO new Honeywell thermostat installed. I called on July 1st and was guaranteed that a manager would be out on Monday July 3rd and that they would call both myself and tenant with at least 20 minutes notice. No one called my tenant or myself on July 3rd and she was taking a shower when they showed up and they just left without contacting us. As of July 4, 2023 and FIVE visits from Cool Blew (which either my tenant or myself had to take off work for) the unit is still leaking in the bathroom and there has not been a new Honeywell thermostat installed. The flooding has ruined personal items including toiletries, makeup, blow dryer, etc and they have not contacted me regarding replacing these items, fixing the leaking a/c drain in the bathroom, or installing the paid for Honeywell thermostat.Business response

I want to apologize for the issues regarding the water leak. The install techs that went out there thought the leak was coming from the unit in the ceiling, so they were not looking under the vanity where our service tech unclogged the condensate drain line shortly after the installation. One of our service managers went to the property on July 7th and repaired the leak that was under the vanity. He was not aware that the thermostat had not been installed yet, so he did not install the new thermostat. I have left a message to discuss the issues and the issue with the toiletries that were under the vanity but had to leave a voice message. Cool Blew will get the thermostat installed as soon as we get access to the home. We are hoping to get this installed on Thursday, July 13th. We will get the toiletries issue resolved once I speak to *************
Thank you!

On June 15th our home warranty dispatched Cool Blew to service our AC unit for not blowing cold air. The tech spent about 30 minutes in the attic and then spent another 30 minutes outside repairing the unit. Unit was repaired. On June 28th our attic ac is leaking water due to a pipe being disconnected ( condensation pipe). This has caused damage to our ceiling and attic. The home warranty recalled our service order and sent Cool Blew tech back to the house. He repaired the pipe but the co pant is refusing to fix the issue with the dry wall and paint. The tech was the last in the attic and when fixing the new tech even stated the leak has been going on from the time of the fix on June 15th. Due to the tech on June 15th we now have damage to our house and the company is refusing to fix it even though its their techs fault. I asked the tech if it was leaking before his tech went up there they would have told us. He agreed that it was leaking before June 15th and started leaking right around that time. I attached pictures of this mornings damage. I would just like my ceiling fixed and the attic drywall repairedBusiness response

We contacted the homeowner the next morning and had our service manager go look at the water stain on the drywall ceiling. We decided to take care or painting the drywall once the drywall completely dried out. We are scheduled to stop by the home this week to get a paint sample so we can paint the area affected. The homeowner has approved this and agreed to remove this complaint.
