A few months ago, my previous landlord attempted to report my back pay rent to this entity. The entity productivity has been a nightmare since the beginning. They approved everything within the same week as my landlord submitted everything. However in my portal it was showing the landlord didnt submit his ID when in reality he did, he was honest and holds good integrity. The payment was disputed with my credit card company because I thought was scam. But right after I disputed the merchant replied to the card company rapidly. Then went in my tenant portal and advised me when my backdated rent will be reported. Well since that date, nothing has been reported, in fact every month around the alleged report time to Equifax and ************ the dates change. (Evidence attached to this complaint) Granted, this has been an ongoing issue for over three months now. Backdated rent doesnt take that long to report, especially after receiving all legible documents, landlords information and ID, along with an approval. Ive been going back and forth with representative at Credit Boost, *********************** but has not gotten anywhere with her. I advices her ***** Fargo has received their payment and there is no way she didnt know that. They are unethical and does not hold any integrity. I want to be refunded and do business with another reporting agency. Kind Regards.

We take data security very seriously at 950 Credit (Credit Rent Boost) and want to protect our tenants and landlords from any activity that *** appear to be fraudulent.  During the processing of ********************** file - approximately 5 days after enrollment -  the file was flagged by our security team as having potential fraudulent activity involved.  We follow strict guidelines set forth by TransUnion and Equifax, which also align with the guidelines set forth in the FCRA.  As such, when there are indications of potential fraud - we immediately turn the file over to investigations units of TransUnion and Equifax for their analysis.   On September 27, we were informed by Equifax that there was fraudulent activity related to the rent reporting activity of ********************** file.  For privacy reasons we cannot go into further detail here - but we can say that Equifax informed us that they would not accept rent data for ********************** file.  Our Tenant Agreement Terms and Conditions and our Refund Policy is clear - we do not offer refunds in cases where fraud is evident on a tenant's file with us and/or a tenant disputes the credit card charge;  both circumstances occurred in ********************** case.

Mr.  Cadet -  We assure you there are no fraudulent activities on our part as some of the words in your complaint appear to insinuate.  On the contrary, our landlord vetting department is investigating the potential fraud that is implicit in the communications and emails that seem to be coming from you disguised as coming from your landlord (see explanation further in our response).   We immediately deleted your account and all associated data from our platform upon your first request.  In our multiple conversations via email, text and phone I mentioned that you would qualify for a refund since you are within 30 days of your enrollment - as long as your landlord emailed us letting us know he will not participate.  These requirements are listed in our refund policy in your signed tenant agreement and on our website (see FAQ "Why would I not qualify for a refund?").   You agreed to have us send your landlord an email confirming that they will not participate.  We copied you on this email so that you could see that it went out on our end and that we are trying to work with you and honor your requests.  When the "landlord" responded, we noticed that the email appears to be tied to you ( "*********************** *********************************"<jc*****@gmail.com>).  When we attempted to get clarification about the association of your name to both the email used as the tenant and the email that is supposed to be for the landlord, then we received your review and threats of legal action.   As mentioned, our landlord vetting department is investigating the discrepancy between the email addresses of yours (the tenant) and the landlord.   If they determine that there is fraud associated with this account, then there will be no refund offered and it will be turned over to the credit bureau's fraud department.

I paid this company for my rental payments to be reported to all 3 credit bureaus with expedited ********* months later the service I paid for has not been provided. This company sells personal information documents on telegram. I am a victim of identity theft after using this company and uploading my personal documents. Thats the only service i received was stealing my identity.

************** - We are very happy with our record of great online and BBB reviews and we strive to offer the best rent reporting service with the highest integrity.  But on occasion we understand that we are going to have a customer that feels they have had a less than satisfactory experience, and when those occasions occur - we do our best to work with those customers to find an acceptable solution.

Regarding the inaccuracies in your complaint:

    1)  You did not pay us to report to all 3 bureaus since it is clear on our website that we can only report to 2 credit bureaus if you have an individual owner as a landlord.
    2)  We did report your account to TransUnion and Equifax on Feb 24, 2023 (you enrolled on Feb 17, 2023).
    3)  We do not sell any personal information  - we have never sold any data since the inception of our company.

    4)   We certainly had nothing to do with stealing your identity.   If you were a victim of identity theft, this had nothing to do with our company nor our processes.

When our staff tried to speak to you about your situation - you were extremely unreasonable and all you did was yell and curse at our staff members and made it impossible for us to help you.  We are more than willing to discuss your account and figure out a resolution that can work for you if you are willing to discuss the situation in a calm manner and work towards a mutually beneficial resolution.

On Aug 29th 2022 I paid $79 for this company to report my 2 years worth of never a day late rent to all bureaus. They make you pay first and you can not ask for a refund for the services they dont provide you with because they dont give them. all their 5 star reviews are fully fake and the bad reviews are all saying the same as me. The false advertising that they are doing anything besides steeling from poor innocent people trying their hardest to get a leg up by paying for a few extra points on a credit report. I want this place shut down. I have never seen anything like this and why is it ******* has done nothing? Recent reviews on ****** say the same thing that they pay for nothing and the company only responds with requests for refunds to tell us that they dont allow refunds and regardless of the situation whether the customer has application discrepancies or not they should be refunded without penalty. Thats far from what you get when youre dealing with vultures and Im still so angry at these animals that they are actually lucky to be in *******. Can someone please do something about this and shut them down or force them to make a policy change? They probably dont even pay taxes

We are sorry that you feel you had a bad experience, but you cannot commit libel against us (as you have in this review) without forcing us to seek legal remedies.    We understand that no company is going to receive all 5 star reviews, but we strive to offer the best customer service and produce the best product that we can - and when we get a less than stellar review, we do our best to remedy the issue at hand.   Unfortunately we experience the occasional customer that is attempting to commit fraud - and then they will  leave a bad review as some sort of reprisal against us.  In your case, it appears that you are actually trying to report rent for yourself - which is not allowed by the credit bureaus.   ********* **************** name that you gave us is owned by you, and the lease you provided was between you and your company, and you signed the verification of rent (only the landlord can do this) - all of this can be evidence of the tenant (you) trying to report rent for yourself.   Additionally when we reached out to the owner of the property (which is a very normal part of the vetting process) you seemed upset about this - so again, a potential red flag to us.   We follow the credit bureaus strict vetting guidelines and it is our company policy to collect additional information to help verify details when we feel potential for fraud exists.    We have been trying to communicate with you in order to verify your data, but you have not been available to us and have not provided us with enough information to satisfy the credit bureaus' guidelines to show that you are not attempting to verify your own rent payments.    Our refund policy is very clear and you have a signed copy of it on your tenant agreement - and that is that no refunds are available if it appears that a tenant or their landlord are attempting to commit fraud.  Please feel free to contact us so that we can discuss your case further and clear up any questions we have regarding your situation.

On 1/31/2022 PRG initiated receiving business credit reporting by Credit Rent Boost. $50.95 was automatically taken from our business account. Later we were told they could not provide the services we desired because they don't do business credit reporting only personal credit reporting. We understood and requested a refund due to services not being received and they denied our request. So here we are giving them another chance to refund the amount list above. Thank you.

    Good ************************************** Llc,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.  Per TransUnion & Equifax, we are unable to report Business Tradelines - That being a tradeline under a company name.  On Feb 1st immediately after your cancellation request one of our staff members called to see if we could report under the agent for your  LLC  vs the company's name and unfortunately you did not answer, or return our call. In a subsequent email, you stated you had also enrolled with another company, which does not qualify for a refund.  At Credit Rent Boost, customer satisfaction is something we take very seriously and do our absolute best to ensure every question is answered and we explore every option to help our customers.   We tried to reach out to you again, but unfortunately were only able to leave a message.  It's been our intent to resolve this matter, and have tried to contact you for clarification...  Please return our call so we can work together for a resolution.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that the resolution of a full refund would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

    Regards,

    Prosperity ************ Llc
