I have not had trash picked up for 5 weeks because of some snow. Our street was marked unserviceable even after the snow cleared. No one came to pick up our trash. I called to have our trash picked up and scheduled for the next day. Then I called 3 times in that day to be sure our trash was actually being picked up. I was assured all 3 times that our trash would be pick up by the end of the day. Now I have 5 weeks worth of garbage sitting on the street with animals tearing it open and still no trash pick up. They will not give me a refund they will not pick up my trash. Our entire street has gone without trash pick up for over a month.Republic Services Inc Response

I've had Trash/Recycling services through Republic services for about 8 years now and live in the *********** area. When you call Republic services, there is typically a note at the end of the message that tells you that there will be a 3 question survey at the end. This morning I called Republic Services about a recent rate increase in my services and called them to see if they could lower it. I was re-routed to a Sales person by the name *****. At the end of the call, once she realized that she couldn't help with the rate increase, she told me to hold for the survey and then deliberately disconnected the phone so I would not be able to take the survey. I called again and was re-routed to another sales person and to my shock, she too did the same thing! I hope someone at the top of the chain is making a note of this unless you just do not care about providing a decent customer service experience and will let this behavior continue!Republic Services Inc Response

After two years of consistent and for the most part quality service, they really let our family down today. For two years they have picked up bags and boxes outside of our bin (set a standard) and today the driver left everything outside of the bin. A bag which was not torn this morning was torn and small toys were poured everywhere. When I called to discuss the service, I was met with a customer service representative with a demeaning tone who asked the same questions over and over and was very unhelpful. I will be gladly taking my money elsewhere as quality service or reliability is not a concern of this company.Republic Services Inc Response

Really disappointed with this companyconstant price hikes & so many fees you cant keep track. Then, when youve finally had enough and decide to cancel, you have to sit on hold for at least ***** minutes to talk to someone. Theyll schedule the pick up of your containers that you already paid for ($40:each when signing up plus fees for a full quarter for the one trip). What they wont tell you is that youll have to pay another $40 for each container plus a full quarter of pick up fees againjust to cancel! After multiple ************** calls their collections department generously will remove the $43 ********** be stuck paying $80 just to be done with them & not get sent to collections. What a complete jokebait &switch for sure & their cover for getting away with this is the fine print on the back of their invoices that no one reads. I would give 1/2 star if I could. Waiting now over 2 weeks for trash pickup. Paid for 3 months in advance and they refused to give me a credit to my account. I talked to a manager who finally gave me a $24 credit. If its not picked up soon I dont know what I am going to do.Republic Services Inc Response

This is by far the worst trash company. The constantly raise the prices and never pick up the trash. I'm paying for recycling out of the last 6 months they have not picked up my recycling on time once. You can hardly get anyone on the phone and when you do, they are rude. This last recycling pick up I reported it on 1/10/2025 on the app I got a text on Monday stating it would be picked up and never did, reported it again received another text stating it would be picked up Wednesday. Come Wednesday received another text stating due to unforeseen circumstances it would be delayed by 4 hours. It is now 9 hours later and still isn't picked up. Also a few months ago had to complain because they kept dropping my trash out of the trash can and never go out the truck to pick it up. If you're looking for trash services do not waste your money with them.Republic Services Inc Response

We had inclement weather in my area on the day that service is regularly scheduled - Thursdays - 1/09. I received a text stating that my service was suspended and to Reply YES if I want to continue receiving text updates, which I did. The weather did not improve much Friday but Saturday was clear. I never received any text updates regarding service, so I checked their website to see if any information was posted there, which it was not. Late Saturday afternoon/early evening, I hear what sounded like a trash truck, which was confirmed after looking out my window (they were at my neighbor's house). Unfortunately, I had just gotten out of the shower and didn't have time to haul the trash out before they passed. I went online and scheduled a missed pick-up, detailing the reason in the comments. No updates. I just got off the phone with "customer support" after two call attempts and extended wait times only to be told I have to wait for my upcoming service on Thursday and there's nothing they can do, otherwise. For being a national company who claims to have a commitment to serve, on top of the cost for service vs. my carbon footprint, this is unacceptable. I think this is one of the worst companies *** ever had to deal with. I use them for my garbage removal for my rentals. Its been three weeks since they have came and collected my garbage when I call them. They tell me theres nothing they can do and it will be on the 16th before they can do anything theyre short of Drivers or my route doesnt have enoughDrivers. instead of paying somebody overtime to come and get my trash and haul it off, I have to figure out an alternative to put their garbage in. They have a monopoly. There are no other garbage removal companies in *******************. This is very frustrating to me. I have a contract with them. They expect to get paid, but Im not supposed to expect them to pick up my garbage as scheduled. If I had any other options, they would not still have my business.Republic Services Inc Response

This company will **** all your money and hit you with all the fine print contractual fees and terms. Locking you in a contract for 3 years and then upping your rate to 2xs the original price. They are the biggest money grab scam I have ever encountered. They started off friendly and affordable, but over the three years we used their services, they increased our rate without any formal notice to twice the price we originally started with. When we had to relocate out of state, it took them three months to process and pick up our dumpster, charging us unreasonable fees for a service we werent even using. They imposed overage fees even when the dumpster was not full, and the rates fluctuated monthly due to random service fees they deemed necessary. Contacting customer service to resolve these issues was nearly impossible. Two months after they removed our dumpster, they sent us a new charge for its removal, despite having already taken it away.We will never use their services again and strongly warn others to seek out different companies, as they will extract as much money from you as possible.Republic Services Inc Response

We paid $35 8 days ago for you to pick up our tree today. Called at 1 to ask why it wasnt picked up. After a 15 minute call acting like we werent customers you said you were still coming.
