    This company help me with solar panels, but they fix the roof of the house, they are charge me 2 times the price of roof, they made another loan that I wasn't responsible, they are charged me

    Typical ************* and Staff *****************. Promise everything and get nothing. When they knocked on my door about free Solar Panels my senses went on high alert. I did advise at that time that my roof was over 25 years old and was currently leaking. I told them panels could not be installed on this old leaky roof. Of course the guys stated there is grant ***** from the state for a new roof. Also they would send their roofer out to inspect the roof, which did happen. I showed him where it was leaking, but he never went up on a ladder. I was also told the leak could be repaired, but I stated the entire roof is too old. Months went bye and nothing. Sales guys started calling again. But no new roof or repairs. Next thing I know installers show up and put panels on my old roof. I complained to this company and the installation company with no help. So panels are sitting on my roof for almost two years now, never turned on! The installation company could never get their installation approved by the township inspectors and the company just walked away. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANYL!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

    Solar panels were installed and the local township inspector always failed the installation.This went on for months.SunBound Solar could never get their work approved.Now the panels are just sitting on my roof for over a year and a half, not turned on.I want the panels removed!Of course they have put holes in my roof now during the installation.Now my roof is ruined and I can not afford to fix it.I am a senior citizen on a fixed income.Would never recommend them.They stopped communicating with me last year.

    ******************* ***** (President) of SunBound Solar told me in writing that he would provide $500 cashback when my solar system was given permission to operate. This happened at the end of April. He has since been unresponsive and accused me of being aggressive. He said he would arrange to have my money sent to me, and I have not heard back again. He also said I would not have to make payments towards my system until I had permission to operate. Again, this is documented in written communicatioon from him. When I asked him about this, he asked me to send a copy of my bills, and he did not respond to this matter again. This was in January. On 1/23, he said "We will get checks sent out to you. I appreciate you sending this." I never got checks to cover the payments I was making, and I have made payments since. To this day, my solar system is still not operational. As of today, I am owed 5 x $103.96 + $500 = $1019.80 as per the written communications from **** as far back as January. I have the paperwork written to file the *** complaint as well as to file in small claims court. I would rather get the money and be done. These are the last options. This has dragged on for months despite him telling me for almost half a year that I would get this money. There is much more to my list of grievances with SunBound, but that is not the purpose of this complaint. I want to get the money I was promised and be done with this.

    I hired Sunbound Solar on July 11, 2021 to install solar panels on my roof. At that time, I paid a $6000 deposit to begin work. There was an initial install by a crew, and then a re-install by another crew due to faulty wiring. After many delays, the system was turned on December 14, 2021 and the $14000 remainder was paid. I received the solar monitoring software application from ************** approximately 30 days later. It was noted at that time by Sunbound and me that 11 of the 21 panels were not working. In late January, another crew came by and let me know that the problem panels were wired in a circular circuit, the energy generated was just being circulated to the panels, which was causing the inverters to likely burn out. In addition, the wiring to many of the panels was exposed to the elements, leading to a fire hazard. At that time, I went on the roof to photograph the issues.For the past 60 days, I have been asking for a status to fix the issue. For the past 30 days, no one has returned a call or text. My initial representative *******************, nor a company rep ********* I tried calling the number on the contract, which went to a cell phone of an ex-employee of the company who is suing for back pay and has not been with Sunbound since 2020. This employee did give me the number of one of the owners, who I have left a message for. There is no main number available for the company.I hired Sunbound based on a recommendation from *********** -- a solar consulting company out of ******. I also called a reference who said their installation and system were all good.
