On my first interaction was promised seven day trial so I could see what this company has to offer before paying any money. When I tried to log into the app, it said account banned. The person I was speaking with said that this was due to me having already used the free trial which I had not. So I told them I no longer needed their services. A couple months later I was contacted again and I explained my situation to that person and they said that they had no problem issuing me the free trial and so I sat on another presentation to be told afterwards that I already used my free trial so there isn’t one so then I told them Not to contact me anymore. I wasn’t going to use their service. Again recently I was contacted and I explained my situation to this person and they got me in front of a different Director in the customer retention department instead of from the sales department. This person promised to give me the free trial and said they sent an email to the tech department to make it happen. The next day, I asked why no one was getting back to me and they said they were told no I could in fact not have the free trial. I asked for them to remove all my information from their database and to never contact me again. Since then, it’s been a week, I have been contacted by three more people asking if I need agents and I keep asking them to delete my information out of their records and to make sure that I do not get contacted again. I just want them to go away at this point and stop wasting my time.Business response

Please advise that I was contacted again last evening by Hirey. I hope to not be contacted again but also that the general public should be aware that this organization is scamming people. The reason I want to be on the do not call list is that they are using my company name and scamming people. We had to put out a company-wide message to not use Hirey and when I went into the presentations, 3 times, with 3 different sales reps, they told me my organization is using their services. This is not true. I recommend that people not give them their banking or credit card information or they WILL be scammed.Business response

Hirey has contacted me many times through social media and they often message my ******** and ********. There seems to be continuous new employees who don't understand when I tell them I've talked to someone from their company already and I do NOT want to use their services. They just don't go away. They will keep asking why and promising that it will be different this time.
Even after this, the process is a scam. They showed me the same "current" applicants 3 times over a year apart. The presentation is lies.

Interviewed with ***** **** and was hired but before I could receive equipment I had to pay a fee for time toggle, and software. The company was ********************, and numerous other companies. This site has so many fraudalent employer's. Wanting to send you their company checks and than turn around and send money to vendor's. I have copies of checks they wanted me to deposit. And my bank is closing my account due this. Another Person her Company is called ******************** and the recruiter wanted me to give her money out of my account. I have lost over $1500.00. In scams for online employment please look into this Hirey App so innocent people do not lose their finances.Business response

Fake job ads have been placed using our company's stolen information and logo on a website called **************************. We are getting numerous phone calls and emails (starting 10/21/24) from job applicants who have been in contact with the scammers wondering if the job posting was legitimate. We have screenshots from their communications on the ************************** website, as well as screenshots of the fake virtual interviews that were conducted on ********* Teams. The scammers conduct fake interviews, extend a fake job offer, then have the applicants fill out "hiring paperwork" that discloses their personal and banking information for "payroll". We have no idea how many people have sent these scammers their sensitive information. We have contacted ************************** about removing the fake ads, and they have been less than helpful. The ad is still up four days after we reported it to them and requested it be taken down. Please look into the website **************************. I have found a ton of bad reviews from them online, and it seems to be a hotspot for scammers. We have also filed a fraud report with the ***.Business response

Do not use them. The reality was nothing as promised. There was zero response to the emails or any contact information they provided. They sent only very unqualified candidates in completely different fields from ours. They sent auto mechanics for banking jobs. There was no option to ask or sort for qualifying information. Dont believe any response they give here.Business response

Hirey represented contacted me offering recruiting services for hiring for my business. They claimed to have pre-screened all candidates and confirmed that the potential candidate is specifically seeking the type of employment I offer. That is not at all what they do. Hirey did not prescreen the candidates, as a matter of fact I was running into "candidates" that are using Hirey as a dating site. Not a single qualified candidate came from their supposed talent pool.Business response

The response from the company for me to deal directly with them is not satisfactory. I tried that before I came to the BBB. The company did nothing to remedy the issue. I had offered multiple solutions to my then account manager and was advised that they were unable to do anything further and basically to deal with it. I have since found that that particular individual is no longer with the company. Another person from the company reached out to me through ******** and when I provided him information regarding my experience, he apologized and continued to try to get me to pay for an account. I explained the situation again and have not heard from him since. I am simply requesting a refund of the $999 since their site turned out a couple of dating invites and frankly what I consider to be a bunch of fake profiles.Business response

The business is a recruiting website, but gave false information. The representatives from Hirey shared that there were over ***** available candidates in ********* for financial advisor positions. After payment, it was revealed that the number was less than five. The question was repeatedly asked how to filter candidates based on geographic area, but Hirey did not share this information in the early stages of the conversations and first required that the account be activated before this information could be shared. Given that the commitment was still within the trial period, a full refund was requested (email sent 4/26/24). Hirey would not issue a refund and continue to send messages asking for additional funds. Repeated messages have been sent to dispute the charge of $399, as the services did not align with what was advertised. Hirey continues to ask for more payments instead of issuing a refund from the initial payment. It is apparent that Hirey is a company that misrepresented its services severely. In addition, Hirey is not willing to do any refund without pre-authorizing funds via ******* This was not method of payment that was used at any point in the previous transaction. Hirey continues to send emails with inconsistent information about services and payments. On 7/22/24, an email was received in which the representative asked for $99 paid directly to them via ****** for their services.Business response

I subscribed with Hirey and was encouraged to sign up for a 4 month subscription. I was assured that within the 4 months if I was unhappy, I could get a refund. When I asked for a refund, I was told that the promotional pricing offered is not eligible for a refund, despite 3 different agents telling me it was during my initial setup, I am now feeling scammed.Business response

Hirey calls everyday sometimes 2-3 times a day. They ask for people who do not work in this in this office. We have asked to be taken off their list everyday and they refuse to and call back again. They say things like I am not calling for you. They are obnoxiousBusiness response
