Disastrous!!! The Hook up Guys (now calling themselves Appliance ****** Mechanics) were assigned by ************ Services to fix the washer part of my Kenmore stacked laundry center. It was not agitating or spinning. It was supposed to be covered by a ***** Extended Protection Agreement. After the Hook Up Guys initial assessment of the problem, ***** sent the parts that were requested to my house. The tech at the next visit told me the computer control was the wrong part. It took another two months and a dozen really frustrating, long calls to ***** for them to get the right part finally delivered. Tech came back out, installed the part and said the machine was good to go. Immediately after he left, I put in a small load of clothes and could see right away that the machine was still neither agitating nor spinning. Because it was after hours, I called them up the next working day. I told them that the problem had not been repaired. They told me that since their tech had told them that it was repaired, that Id need to go back to square one, contact ***** and start a new ticket. Lengthy argumentation with phone guy was a total waste. I called ***** who told me that since my protection agreement had lapsed in the interim, and even though that it was active at the time I requested the repair, since the Hook Up guys had said it was fixed, it was not something that would be covered. I told them that the machine had not been fixed as was claimed by the Hook Up Guys but ***** just gave me a big telephonic shoulder shrug. In short, ***** ****** Services had a third party come out who didnt fix the issue with my machine but who claimed it had been fixed. Because of this, I got screwed by both ***** and the Hook Up guys out of a covered repair. I would warn anyone who uses ***** Home Services to request a different tech group for ************.

This company is now going by another name, appliance repair medics. They may call you and text you, but they never show up on time. They didn't know if the parts would be delivered to me or them. Once the parts were received by them, they scheduled my repair 3 days later. Not only did they not show up all day, *************** called at 6 pm and said they didn't check the box, sorry not all parts were there. I'm still waiting for my washer to be repaired since February 5th, ****. No wonder this company has a BBB rating of C.

THE WORST -- NO SHOW, NO CALL. CALL THEM ONLY TO BE ON PERPETUAL HOLD

As an ********* Service Technician I can tell you I have cleaned up behind these guys too many times. They are what we call butchers, hacks and they give our industry a bad name. We work for multiple home warranty companies and i can not tell you how many horror stories we have heard and fixed. They upsell unnecessary work and over charge, then they take that money and run and do not return to repair the warranty work. Please do everyone a favor and stay away from them

Hopefully no one should suffer these incompetent buffoons. My range has been under repair for a month. The first ******* came pretty quickly and determined the part needed. The part arrived about a week later and the tech they sent, who was not really an appliance tech but a satellite installer by trade as he informed me came alone and realized there were 2 parts to the assy needed. Of course a second order had to be put in. 2 weeks later I called the hook up turds and waited on the phone for 45 minutes with a hang up in between to eventually speak to **** who seemed clueless about anything to do with the status of the remaining part or the work order in general. Finally fed up with it all I called ***** and made a new repair order and was able to talk to a real person who helped resolve the issue. If there was a ZERO rating it would still be too high!

They are Rotten. Kept promising an appointment but when I called to find out why I hadnt had any text confirmation or anyone show up he didnt remember talking to me and forgot to write my appointment down. Finally weeks later the technician shows up. But he doesnt update anything. My parts werent ordered and ***** never found out what was wrong. Yet the Hook up guys told me they ordered the parts and they would arrive in **** days. Never happened. Wouldnt trust them to get anything done. I am informing ***** never to use them.
