    I paid to have the house and the garage painted and the total amount was $4250. I first went around at ****** advice to find things that needed to be touched up which I did that. He did touch up some of those things but as I continue to look around the house, I am seeing where I still have gray paint on white trim. Also, seeing a lot of the old color coming through. He stated he would paint behind the blinds and did not. The job was rushed and was not completed in my opinion so I am looking for him to send me a check for some amount of the total. Partial refund is my request. I will not be using him again.

    This is in regards to complaintant ***** ********.  After receiving an estimate for the paint, he added multiple additional jobs such as removing and installing smoke detectors, changing the bottom seal on a garage door and adding two tone paint for all the walls and ceilings in the interior. He informed he would be removing and replacing the blinds at a later date and didn’t care about the paint surrounding the current ones as the new ones would be painted when the old ones were removed. The $4250 charge included the original paint estimate and the addition of the add-on jobs he requested.  I advised him that I would remedy any issues he had and have been to his home since the job concluded and I received payment. As this job was already at a severe discount, I am able to offer Mr. Crawford $150 refund as the job was already severely discounted from the beginning.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 16809524, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
