Very disappointed at the level of the seats for this train in the Observation Dome on the Desert View seat 13, it had a hole and even thought the fabric had no tears I was actually seating on the frame. I sat on these frame to the Grand Canyon and back to the station. I reported it to the attend ********* and she said she would try to fix it but when we boarded back on I asked her if she had fixed and she said no but I will see if I can move you when I get everybody in. She never did and there seats available as I checked myself after we left. She avoided us the whole trip back. Very unprofessional for a person who has been with company for 33 years. The train makes enough money to fix this problem with a seat and I am sure I am not the first to report this to a staff member. We paid 250 per person to be comfortable and instead I was treated like I didn't matter.Review from Evelyn V

I called to make a reservation for the train and the person who was "helping" me was very rude and impatience when I was having trouble finding/reading back my AAA membership club number. This made me nervous, uncomfortable and hesitant about asking him more questions about the reservation. This company should not have people like this working in costumer service, makes you wonder if all their employees are the same way. In my opinion, your overall experience start at the moment you call to make a reservation and person's attitude on the other side of the phone. I will never use this company the future.
