  I was looking at a website called Charitybuzz They had some baseball **************** thought I might get my son with something under $100 for his birthday. I noticed there were a lot of things to bid on that were all way out of my league. But before getting off the site i did click on an item, and even though I could never afford it, a membership for a private jet company. Evidently I inadvertently made a bid. Now I could never afford to fly in private jets never mind the $3900 just for membership just to step in the door. Flights can cost upwards of $25,000 and more after you pay the membership fee. Im a retired firefighter from the **** and my wife is a teacher. We are 2 civil servants that have a tough time paying for our two 16 yr **************** to fly coach when schools are closed. I found out that I was the winning bidder by email from Charitybuzz that I quickly replied that I did not bid. I explained I could not afford it and would have difficulty paying for the $3900 my credit card was charged. I could never use this service due to the price. I reached out to both Amalfi ***************** to request a refund to my credit cards but was declined. Neither business would consider this was a mistake and the only ones benefiting from this charity was Amalfi Jets. They learned I couldnt afford it but could care less about helping me getting the money back even though they would never have to do anything for the money I was charged. I believe that it would be ok if I offered to let Amalfi Jets keep 10% for paperwork but it would be very fair to get the full amount back. I feel this was unscrupulous and unfair to keep the money while offering me nothing I could use in return.

  Thank you for your message. We have confirmed receipt of your complaint. Please note that we are in multiple email chains with you and the **************** Team at CharityBuzz regarding this. However this complaint is directed at Charitybuzz and their platform. We are independent of this situation and wholly under the jurisdiction of CharityBuzz.
  
  We donate on a monthly basis our Amalfi Reserve and Amalfi One Jet Card Memberships to Charitybuzz in support of various non-profit organizations. Once they are donated, Charitybuzz handles all payments, remittances, and disputes. By creating an account with CharityBuzz you are subject to their own terms and conditions and refund policy. However, as stated in other chains with members of our team, we are unable to offer a refund as you are subject to their policies and terms and conditions. We have attempted on numerous occasions to make this right by providing additional flight credit or allowing you to donate your membership to someone else who can reimburse you. We will happily honor the membership and flight funds to anyone you would like to gift the membership to.
  
  That said, your request for a refund cannot be accommodated as we are independent from Charitybuzz and cannot provide a refund from their company, their processing system, or their terms of service. Please direct your complaints and concerns to them as we are not party to this. We simply donate our memberships to raise money for local non-profits, facilitated by the platform.
