            I'm looking for help with a charge by Alameda hospital for a service I didn't ask for.Here's the summary:1. My cardiologist ordered an echo cardiogram test.2. I called the Alameda hospital to schedule the test and requested the results to be provided on a CD for my cardiologist to interpret, the CD was mailed to me within a week as agreed. 3. The 1st **** arrived in a couple of weeks which I paid right away.4. A week later a 2nd **** arrived for the "test results interpretation" which I didn't ask for and my cardiologist's order didn't request. This 2nd claim was submitted to my insurance company with exactly same code as the 1st.5. The hospital didn't warn me that they would do the test results interpretation and charge for it.6. The hospital didn't ask me to sign any documents before the procedure where I could see the additional service would be provided and charged.7. After complaining with the billing department the hospital sent me a letter explaining interpretation of test results was a "standard of care" but they didn't provide any legal justification for providing and charging for the unrequested and unnecessary service.8. To stop their harassment and collections proceedings I paid the 2nd **** ($378) and now looking for help to get my money back.I believe this is the case of an overcharge and a surprise **** which not many people are willing to object to. The health care system is riddled with billing issues and someone needs to stand up to them.I'd also appreciate your help in making sure they don't charge for unrequested services in the future.All supporting documentation can be provided upon request.
